"Okay, bank left. Duck. Yeah! We lost her!" Rapunzel smirked as she held tightly onto Max's reins.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Watch your flank!" Cassandra laughed as she passed her sister, riding Fidella.

"Nice Move!" Rapunzel grinned.

"Thanks!"

"Don't get too comfortable, because I'm gonna win!"

"Great! Don't get cocky. I still got a trick or two up my sleeve!" She leaned forward and whispered to Fidella. "Told you we had this. Oh, woah!" They both pulled up before going over a large cliff full of black rocks. She let out a sigh. "Phew. Thanks, girl."

"Make way!" Rapunzel called. "Don't worry, boy. You got this."

"Raps, wait! It's too wide! You could-"

Rapunzel and Max made the jump and landed with ease. "Ha!"

Cassandra gripped her reins tightly, trying to hide her fear. "...Go splat..."

"Best race ever!" Rapunzel exclaimed.

Shaking her head, Cassandra found a way around the cliff and rode over to Rapunzel's side.

"After being cramped in that caravan for the last few months, it's so great to be out here in the open just the two of us. It's been awhile since we just had some sister time."

"Yeah, it's great," Cassandra agreed with a grin. "But for the record, this was a scouting trip, no one officially said anything about it being a race."

"Caaaaass, don't be a sore loser," Rapunzel teased.

"Hey! I am not a sore loser. To be a sore loser, I'd have to have lost something."

Rapunzel gasped and Cassandra looked where her sister was. Immediately she was met with the sight of a large tree. "Oh, wow."

"There it is. The Great Tree," Rapunzel whispered. "You know, Adira said the inside is hollowed out, and it's the fastest way through those mountains."

Cassandra groaned. "Ugh, Adira..."

"Okay, it'll be dark soon. We should head back to camp and we'll set out here in the morning," Rapunzel said.

"You're right. Race ya!" Cassandra suddenly turned around and started at a gallop. "And it's official this time!"

"Oh, it is so on!"

They raced back to the caravan where the others were.

"Blondie! You're back." Eugene waved.

"Yep!" Rapunzel leapt off Max and her boyfriend caught her.

"Two weeks off the water and you're still falling?" He teased.

"Eugeeeene," Rapunzel giggled. "The Great Tree is just over the ridge."

"Great! Guess we'll get started then," Eugene said.

Lance suddenly ran screaming out of the caravan. "Aaaaaah!"

"Lance! It's ok! Andrew is taking care of it," Varian called.

"Spider!" Lance cried.

Andrew stepped out of the caravan and put the spider on a tree. "Come on, Lance. It's more scared of you than you are of it. What has it ever done to you?"

"I highly doubt that! Plus, have you ever been poisoned by one? I highly do not recommend."

"Touche," Andrew said with a shrug.

"I'm suddenly missing a few minutes ago when it was just you and me. Speaking of that, Raps, that jump you and Max took-" Cassandra began.

"Oh, you mean the jump that won us the race?" Rapunzel elbowed her teasingly.
