Tyler?
I bit into my nails nervously before hitting send. I counted the two minutes before his response.
Is everything okay?
I smiled. At least he still cared.
Yes.
I replied succinctly. This time around, I didn't have to wait for two minutes before he replied.
Oh. Okay. Why are you texting me then? I thought you didn't want me in your life anymore.
You were the one who suggested it in the face place.
You don't get it do you? I care about you Sierra. I wouldn't want to not be a part of your life. I only said that to force what happened out of you.
I reread the message. So the girls were right after all.
But why? Why do you want to know so badly?
Why can't I know? I respect your decision to not tell me stuff because you don't owe me that obligation, boyfriend or not. But it still hurts. It hurts when you wouldn't tell me things. And I'm also worried. I wasn't the only one who saw you that night remember? McKenna isn't exactly the quietest person.
I chuckled.
Did you just call the woman you love a blabber mouth?
She is a blabber mouth. Why should I hide it just because I'm into her?
I sighed.
Will you come over?
I don't want to fight anymore Sierra.
I promise, we won't. Just come?
There was a pause for about a minute before he answered.
Alright. I'll be there in twenty.
I sent him a thumbs up and put my phone on charge. I then decided I'd take a quick shower before he came because all that sweating in the gym made me itchy.
I lost all sense to time in the shower and when I finally stepped out with my towel wrapped around me, I saw Tyler sitting at my study desk.
"You're here!" I gasped in surprise and fastened my towel, laying my palm on the knot. The thing barely wrapped around me and I had no idea Tyler would be here already.
He turned with the hopes of replying until he took a single look at me. His lips parted a fraction as his eyes roamed my body. I stood frozen, feeding off of the looks he shot at me.
The sensation was all new yet familiar, like I'd previously experienced with just him. His eyes were on my legs and I could feel the heat from them penetrating my skin.
