Octavia came up to me "Did you get Bellamy to calm down some?" I nodded "Yeah somehow I managed to convince him to lay down and relax for fine minutes while we handled things for a bit. He looked so tired I'm hoping he'll knock out."

Octavia laughed as she interlocked our arms together and approached Raven who was watching as she told the group in charge of the land mines what to do.

"Hey mechanic queen." Raven turned around at the sound of my voice and looked behind us "Where's Bellamy?"

"Contained and handled, for now." Raven nodded at Octavia "So what's the plan then?"

"Well since you're with the group on the land mines, one of us needs to be with the group working on fox holes and we need to find someone to take guard duty over for Sterling."

"I'll do the fox holes." Raven and I nodded at Octavia as she ran off I sighed as I looked around and saw Monroe carrying stuff out of the drop ship to help build our defenses up.

"Monroe hey, are you helping with the land mines or fox holes?" She shook her head as I walked with her "No Raven said she had enough and One fox hole already got finished now we just need the three others to be finished and there wasn't anymore room in the space for me."

I nodded "Do you want to take over watch for Sterling? Can eat and drink if you want kinda like a break from working so hard on the first fox hole."

She nodded excitedly "Sterling is my best friend and he needs a break and if that means I can help him and camp I'll do it." I thanked her before running off into my tent I had shared with Octavia where I still kept all my stuff.

I pulled out a bag and looked through the scrap metal I had collected since landing on the ground.

As my hand found the piece of metal I was looking for I smiled happily as an idea hit me.

I ran into the drop ship where we kept the rifles and ran back to the tent and started to put the cone shaped metal to the tip of the gun and secured it to the gun.

I held the rifle and looked through to scope to make sure it wasn't blocked by the metal.

I sighed in relief and smiled to myself I grabbed some bullets I had, Raven and I never checked if they worked or not but I decided I'd kill two birds with one stone and test the piece I added to the gun and the bullet.

I went to a clearing in the woods and held the rifle up and aimed it at a tree, I remembered what Bellamy had told me about where to place the butt of the gun on my shoulder, and where to position my hands, how to grip the gun not too tight but not loose enough that when you pull the trigger it flies out of your hands, and lastly to take a deep breath and let it out before you squeeze the trigger.

I did each thing as it came to mind and squeezed the trigger, I felt the rifle pull back and saw smoke erupting from the tip where the bullet had just left the gun. I smiled as I realized my idea had worked.

I had made a silencer for the gun, I ran back to camp and started to work on making more. By the time I had decided to check on Bellamy I had made ten silencers.

When I quietly opened the flap to our tent I walked in and saw Bellamy curled into bed hugging his pillow as light snores fell from his mouth.

I smiled and wished I could take a picture of this as he looked so peaceful. And younger then he actually was, I stepped closer as I watched him sleep.

The way his chest rose and fell with each breath, the way his eyes would twitch as he dreamed. "Sleep tight handsome." I whispered as I went out to see what had come of the fox holes and land mines.
