Shuichi sighed as his eyes fluttered open, pain radiating through his entire, groggy body. He attempted to move, to hold his head and relieve some of the pain, but his hands wouldn't move. Glancing down, Shuichi noticed ropes tying his wrists and ankles to a wooden chair. "Now, that wasn't a very smart move of you, was it Saihara?"

He stared up at the room, noticing fourteen of his friends in similar situations, all tied to the same wooden chairs by their wrists and ankles. His blood ran cold, rage bubbling in his stomach as he noticed everyone with bruises and cuts to their bodies. Before Soichiro could erupt in a long monologue, Harukawa disappeared from her seat, appearing behind the chief of police.

In one swift motion, Harukawa took the gun from the chief and shot him execution-style. Officers charged into the room from the shadows, all meeting the same fate as Harukawa teleported around the room, shooting every single one of them. Did they forget about our powers? Maybe they thought the ropes would intimidate us into submission?

Shuichi noticed a flash of light as Rantaro started burning away his ropes, jumping up to help anyone he could. Blades materialised in the air, cutting Yonaga, Shuichi, Hoshi, Chabashira and Akamatsu free from their restraints. Thorns erupted from Shinguji's body, cutting the male free as Iruma broke free with the help of two mechanical hands growing from her back. Finally, the fourteen criminals had broken free from their shackles, all standing in a circle.

"Harukawa? Where are you?!" Chabashira shouted for the woman who'd disappeared.

"Here," the woman deadpanned from the shadows. She marched into the group, pulling Tojo by her hair and throwing the woman into the middle. "Traitor. Why did you do it?"

"Wait, what?!" Ouma shouted.

"Tojo isn't a traitor, she's one of us!" Iruma argued. No one wanted Harukawa's words to be true, the woman who'd behaved as a parental figure to the others.

"It was all a plot to capture everyone and relay information from the inside. I am not an Ultimate, and lied to become close to you." Tojo kept a smile on her face as she spoke.

"Do you regret it?" Shuichi asked, his eye sparkling as he waited for an answer.

"No, I do not," she answered, flashing green. Shuichi's face fell, he felt betrayed, like the world had crashed down around him.

"Shuichi, is she telling the truth?" Ouma begged, tears welling up in his eyes.

"How could you..." Shuichi whispered, his ability deactivating as he glared at the woman.

"Enough," Harukawa interrupted, shooting the traitor in the head. "We need to escape." Everyone stared at the woman as she thudded to the ground, blood pouring from her hair stained crimson.

"I know where we are, I may be able to help," Hoshi offered. "There's a person who will help us escape nearby.

Shuichi stared at the ocean as the boat whirred. Hoshi stood at the end, using his power to manipulate the water and help push the boat along. Standing up, he approached the stranger who'd helped them. "Hey, Seiichi, was it? Thank you for this."

The raven-haired woman turned, the corners of her mouth twitching in a smile. Her muscular body was covered in tattoos, she looked like someone who'd kill you and eat your heart raw. "It is no problem, I owe Hoshi a favour for saving my life. I am obliged to help you, that is all."
