Prompt: Where Percy and Annabeth finally reach the end.
(Whoever spoils my fantasy of letting Percabeth be happy will be blocked❤️)
Third Person POV

Percy never knew how heavy it was until this moment. Annabeth was by his side, as always.
This was the end. After almost fifteen years, this was the end.
Poseidon and Athena had endured the marriage of their children, but the genetic combination was too much, the Gods didn't want to have to deal with "The Grandson of Poseidon and Athena". They would be dishonored, they would no longer be recognized as the Son of Poseidon and Daughter of Athena. They would no longer be of value to the monsters, they would have peace.
Percy thought about everything he had already been through. All the moments, all the pain, all the joy, the whole set of emotions that had gone before.
He thought about all the lost friends, Charles, Zoe, Silena, Michael, Lee, Jason, Bianca...
He thought of all the friends that the madness of the missions had brought him. Grover, Clarisse, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Nico, Will, Katie, Stolls, Annabeth.
His sweet Annabeth, he did and would do anything for her.
His Wise Girl.
"Percy?"
His green eyes met her gray ones. She squeezed his hand.
The boy took a pen from his pocket.
He removed the cap, allowing himself to see his companion of so long once more.
Riptide fit perfectly in his hands. He thought about how everything would charge, how everything was already changing.
He thought about Poseidon, he remembered the desperate feeling of seeing his father pointing at the huge monster in front of the little twelve year old boy, who was holding that same sword, with trembling hands, trying to prove his worth.
His son would never go through this, never.
He gently touched the curve in his wife's stomach, his best friend's stomach.
He felt that little touch back, 'I'm here daddy'.
'I'm here buddy, nothing bad will ever happen to you'.
And with that thought in his head, Percy threw Riptide hard into the ocean, returning her to her place, determined to leave that life behind.
And this time, it wouldn't be back in his pocket.
Not again.
And maybe that was a good thing.
Annabeth hugged him, her belly touching his, their child between them.
"Thank you for everything."
