Dib: Zim, if we have to work together you follow my lead.
Zim: Zip it earth boy, I will do no such thing!
Dib: then what's your idea?
Zim: I've been doing some research and I figured out, the Florpus isn't just a rip in space but also time. It's a most powerful wormhole which means, my Tallest is on the other side of space!See, am I not the most competent being to exist?
Dib: But how do you know they're even alive at this point?
Zim: They're out there Dib, I just know it. Now shut up and let me show you.
Dib (rolling eyes):Ugghhh... I already hate this.
Zim: I present to you,the Florpus 2.0! Not exactly, I just needed a cool name. Now as soon as I turn it on, we need to jump into the portal it will create. It's extremely unstable so once we jump through there's no guarantee it will work again.
Dib: Okay, I get it.
Zim: Ready? Go!
(Membrane catches up to Dib and asks what he's doing before Zim opens the portal)
Membrane: What are you doing?
Zim: We're saving my tallest!
(Things go awry when multiple portals open)
Zim: No no no! What did I do wro- This is all because I didn't have Gir to help me!
Dib: Just fix it!
Zim: I can't in time.
Dib : Then let's go!
(Membrane holds Dib back)
Dib: Dad please you need to let me!
Membrane: I'm not going to risk losing you again!
Zim: I'll go on my own! Now believe it or not I don't want you dead. Not from this, SO RUN!
Dib: ZIM NOOOOO!
(Zim goes into the portal. An ear piercing screech as it tears him apart)
Dib: Ziiiiiim!!!
(Membrane holds him tight, but he jumps out of his grasp, the portal collapses before he can reach it)
Dib: Dad! Why did you! Why....
(Membrane hugs him, though Dib is resistant to the affection this time)
Membrane: If you went through that portal, the same fate would've happened to you. Zim is gone Dib,how can you ever survive anything that horrifying? How can you even think about it?
Dib: Dad, I- But Zim...
Membrane: I have a show to go to, let's go, we can talk about this later.
