Proposing a Proposal

(this features my oc's Rae and Mariah, sorry if you don't like ocs)

Rae: Mariah, we've been close for a long time, I think it's time we tie the knot

(she finishes tying her shoe)

Rae: Also, I think it would be super cool if we had an earth marriage.

Mariah: Yes! (hugs her) And this will also be the perfect opportunity to draw in my cousin Dib and his friend.

Rae: That's right, it's important we take any alien life not under our watch and get them under our watch, let's do this!

Membrane (through monitor): Son, how about you go check the mail this morning, I forgot to do that before I left.

Dib: Well, alright Dad. (checks mail) Bills, bills, restraining order, oh, what's this? Oh, cool, hey (runs into house) We all received a wedding invitation de nuestras prima Mariah. (from our cousin Mariah)

Gaz: Oh I remember her from the family reunion, she's okay.

Membrane: I don't know son, you know what happened the last time I saw my parents.

Dib: But it says here that Dad-brane and Mom-brane were not invited so don't worry about them.

Membrane: What, really. Well, in that case I can handle being around my other family members for a day. I suppose we can go.

Gaz: I didn't think you cared about weddings?

Dib: This is the first time I remember getting invited to anything in my life. Plus, a wedding is a celebration of love, I can use that kind of wholesomeness in my life.

Foodio: WHat is love, again?

Dib (doodling hearts and humming in class)

Zim (looks over at him, thinks): Is the Dib, love-struck?

Dib (walking in the hallway, one of the doodled hearts falls and lands in front of Gretchen. )

Gretchen: I love you too Dib!

(Other kids make fun of Gretchen)

Dib: Hey, you guys just leave her alone, if you wanna mess with her, you gotta go through me!

(They beat up Dib)

Gretchen: Dib, that was so brave, thank you.

Dib: Well, I know what it's like to be made fun of for the things I like. Say, my cousin is having a wedding this weekend, I don't think anyone will mind if I invite you.

Gretchen: That'll be great (her secret plan is to catch the boquet and get married next, to Dib)

(At the wedding)

(priest who oddly resembles yoda from star wars)

Priest: And the brides may kiss

(the two kiss, every one cheers)

Dib: I can't believe it, an entire day and nothing's gone wrong so far, I'm so happy!

Greta: Me too! Today must be a lucky day!

Zim: Not so fast Dib-stink.

Greta: Bug off you cockroach!

Dib: Good one! (they high-five)

Zim: When I'm done with you two, you lovebirds won't even have hands to five with!

Membrane: Well kids, you ready for the after party and, oh, I didn't know you invited your foreign friend. \

Zim: Grrrrr....

(During the after party, Dib and Greta are dancing, Membrane is chatting with Other Carl about the science of making perfect potato salad, Gaz is showing off her new Game Slave to the younger cousin kids, and Gir is ruining the potato salad again.)

(Zim looks at how well everyone is connecting and gets overwhelmed, he eventually just leaves)

(At this part I imagine I Got a Feelin' by Black Eyed Peas playing fsr, if this were in film it would make sense tonally but what can you do?)
