Membrane: Alright son, are you ready?

Dib (takes a deep breath): Yes.

Membrane: You seem nervous

Dib: I've waited so long for this moment, I hope it's worth it.

Membrane: It will be, no matter what.

(On stage)

Membrane: Ladies, gentlemen, everyone else, I present to you today, one of the most outstanding discoveries in all of science, today, science will change in a new direction all thanks to

(Dib walks out onto the stage)

Membrane: My amazing son, who never gave up on his dream on exposing-

(pulls cloth off of Zim's cage, where Zim is now so completely paralyzed he can't speak)

Membrane: AN ALIEN

(the crowd gasps)

Guy in the crowd: Hey, isn't that kid the crazy boy that's been on the news.

Some lady: Yeah, that kid was in my asylum once!

Another guy: Yeah but if Membrane supports him, maybe we should?

Dib: This is not going as smoothly as expected.

Membrane: Calm down son, it's good that people in our universe are starting to think critically!

Zim: Ha, in your face Dib, even with the odds favoring you super favorably, most people still think your insane.

Dib: (Runs off stage.)

Membrane: Son, are you alright?

Dib: No.

Membrane: Look we can-

Dib: What does it matter? You show people and alien, full on, and they still don't believe you. It's like after the florpus when you thought you dreamed everything up. Atleast you know you aren't dreaming now.

Membrane: Son, why does it matter so much that everyone believes you?

Dib: Because... because... I just think if people can open themselves up to bigger things, they would stop fighting over little things. And, well, world peace fantasy I guess.

Membrane: Hmmm, seems like we really are alike, in more ways than I thought, I always wanted world peace, just went about it a different way.

Dib: But you're lucky, you brought world peace and now have a holiday for it. All I ever do is get knocked down again and again.

Membrane: I wasn't always so lucky as I seem.

Dib: You weren't?

Membrane: I know it's hard to imagine, but... people used to think I was crazy, not just my parents. My experiments were considered outrageous and dangerous, there were laws against certain methods.

Dib: So what did you do?

Membrane: I kept going at it, I never gave up. I built my own name and I finally fulfilled my dreams. And I know if you never give up and persue your dream of being the best paranormal investigator, you'll reach that goal, even though aliens are technically extraterrestrial.

Dib: You always just told me I was insane, even though you knew how it felt

Membrane: I know, and I was wrong, I'm the world's biggest hypocrite, but know, that maybe there isn't anything wrong with a little insanity, either way.

Dib (smiles)

Membrane: And there are still people out there that disagree with me and even probably want me gone, but I don't worry about them.

So stop yearning for everyone's approval and start doing what you want to do because it's what you enjoy.

Dib: I will.

Agent DarkBootie: (watching the show through his monitor) Hmmmmm. That child, he betrayed us, wanted to take all the credit for himself.
