Caitlin's P.O.V

As soon as the bell went, me and Luke grabbed our stuff and headed straight out the classroom. We had music, this lesson was the best. Why? The reason why is because me and Lukey had music with the boys. Yay!

We arrived at our music classroom. Calum, Ashton and Michael were already there. Lukey and I joined them. I sat in between Luke and Calum.

"Good morning class, today I'm going to assign you a music project, in which you have to create/write a song about someone or something that relates to you. This project is due in 2 weeks, in which you have to present it to the class." Ms Bloomfield said as she addressed the class.

"Yay, this is going to be interesting." I squealed.

The guys gave me a weird look.

"Are you okay Caitlin?" Calum asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine...are you fine?" I asked him back.

"Yes." Calum replied.

Luke's P.O.V

Yes! This is the project I have been waiting for. In two weeks... I can write a song in which expresses my feelings towards her. This is perfect! I started writing down some lyrics to my song.

After music finished, the rest of the school day we had boring subjects, so I didn't feel the need to torture you guys with the details.

When school finished I drove Caitlin back to her place and went back to my apartment. I was so tired... so I decided to take a nap...

*phone message noise alert thingy :) *

It was a message from Caitlin.

"Hey, can we hang out I got to tell you something..." Caitlin said.

"Sure meet you at the local café near your house?" I replied.

"Okay." She replied.

I got up changed into some clothes, grabbed a beanie that Caitlin got me, as a present on our "best friend anniversary." Don't ask... this day is when we buy each other gifts, to celebrate the day we met each other. I'm surprise Caitlin never forgets when we met... it's been 18 years.

I grabbed my phone and the keys to my apartment, and made my way to the café near Caitlin's house. When I arrived I saw Caitlin sitting in the corner scrolling through her phone. I walked over to her, and she jumped up to hug me. After hugging for a couple of minutes I took a seat in front of Caitlin.

Maybe... I should tell her I have feelings for her now.

"I have something to say." Caitlin and I said at the same time.

"You go first." I said.

"No, you go first." Caitlin replied.

"No, you. Ladies first." I demanded.

"Okay fine. I...erm ... have a boyfriend." Caitlin said.

What?! Did I hear her correctly? How can she have a boyfriend? After all them times she says "she doesn't want to be in a relationship... what the hell?

"Really? Who would like you?" I joked.

She kicked me in the leg. "Ouch, that really hurt." I replied sarcastically. "You know I don't mean it." I said.

"What's his name?" I asked. Trying not to show the pain I'm currently in. I'm lost for words. Is there ever a point in me admitting my feelings for her? I now know she doesn't feel the same about me... how can she do this? Michael was right; I should have told her earlier.

"His name is James." She replied.

"Oh cool, I'm so happy for you." I lied.

She doesn't understand how I feel towards her. The only thing I can do is watch her be happy with some other guy.

"So... what did you have to tell me?" She asked.

"Oh, nothing... I forgot." I said. (I just wanted to say, I'm in love with you...ever since I've met you. I've never felt this way towards someone before, I never thought I would fall for my best friend, but I guess I can't help it.) I wish I had the courage to tell her.

"You're so forgetful, Lukey." Caitlin said.

"Yeah..." I murmured.
