Luke's P.O.V

It's Thursday. I'm still in pain, but it's nothing I can't handle, my legs are better! Anyways... I arrived at school with Calum, because he insisted that I couldn't go alone. I couldn't stop thinking about yesterday...about Caitlin. Yes. She hurt me but she's still my best friend. I can't let one thing come in between our relationship.

Calum parked the car in a small corner of the school's parking lot. I head over to the boys who were waiting for me and Calum. They looked very protective over me...not like that but you get the picture, in a brotherly love type of way. I guess they were looking out for Caitlin and her boyfriend in case he tries something again.

"Hey guys!" I said.

"Hi Luke." Everyone replied.

As I was talking to the guys. Caitlin came up to me and hugged me, she was crying. She buried her head in my chest, as her tears were running down her face uncontrollably, and into my jumper.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her.

The guys all gave me a look.

"I'm so sorry Luke; I never meant to hurt you." Caitlin started.

"It's fine, don't worry." I replied.

"No. It's not. You've been there for me ever since we were small...and...I...hurt you..." She said whilst crying.

"Well... yes. You hurt me, but not physically..." I mentioned.

"He's not my boyfriend any more. I broke up with him... " Caitlin stuttered.

I wrapped my arms around Caitlin's waist where she likes to be hugged the most, and stroked her back.

"Hey, don't worry okay? I forgive you." I whispered.

"Really?" She said whilst looking up at me. She was so short it was cute. She had hazel watery eyes due to her crying. No wonder I fell for her.

"Yes." I replied.

Caitlin's P.O.V

I came home and changes into a shirt and some sweatpants. To be honest I didn't care how I looked. All I cared about was that Luke and I were friends again. I never want to be in a fight with him again. I went downstairs and jumped onto the sofa. I grabbed the remote control on the glass table and turned the T.V on.

*doorbell*

Omg! That scared the life out of me. I ran to the door and opened it.

"Surprise!" Luke said.

You may be thinking...how do you know its Luke? Well... 1) He always comes over. 2) He my best friend. 3) I don't actually have a three... I just thought I had more than 2 points.

"Hey dork." I said smiling.

He had a bunch of red tulips in his hands, and a bag filled with items in the other hand. I widened the door so that Luke could come in. He placed the flowers on the table near the front door and placed the bag of items on the floor before hugging me tight.

Why do I love his hugs so much? How could I let a boy come in between me & Luke's relationship?

"I got us some movies to watch. I also stopped off at the shop and brought some chocolate, ice cream and popcorn." Luke said, before flashing me a smile.

"Did you get my favourite ice cream flavor?" I questioned him.

"Yes, of course. How could I forget? You love mint chocolate chip ice cream so much; I also got cookie dough for me." Luke answered.

We headed to the kitchen to microwave the popcorn, before putting it, in a bowl. We then carried our ice cream tubs and popcorn to the sofa. I placed the movie "The vow" into the DVD drive. Luke was always a hopeless romantic. I was more of an action/thriller type of person, I didn't really mind to be honest.

The movie started and we started eating popcorn and ice cream. I rested my head on Luke's shoulder. He always knew how to cheer me up, whenever I was down. I'm so lucky, to have him as my best friend.
