Luke's P.O.V
The next day, I woke up and met up with Caitlin at her house, early in the morning to discuss our stupid science homework we had due tomorrow...
"You sure you understand the role of enzymes Luke?" Caitlin says.
I start scratching my head, "No? Can you please go over it one more time? I'm only good at math Caitlin... you know that..."
"Don't forget music" Caitlin replies, "Okay, so enzymes can be found in many different places... such as?"
"Um... your saliva, small intestines and... um..."
"The liver..." Caitlin finishes.
"Right..."
"What do enzymes do Luke?"
"They're catalyst and they help break down food so it is easy to digest."
"See lair... you do know this..." Caitlin states.
"No I didn't, you're just an amazing teacher..." I reply.
*phone alert*
I took out my phone from my back pocket and check the screen...
It was a message from Calum.
I unlocked my phone.
Luke!!! Come over to Ashton's house now! ~Calum
"What's up?" Caitlin asks.
"I don't know... Calum wants to meet up at Ashton's house... it sounds pretty urgent."
"Wanna come?"
"I'm sorry Lukey, I have to do a ton of stuff and babysit Alex again." Caitlin answered.
"It's okay... I'm going to see what the emergency is... I'll talk to you later okay?"
"Okay."
I get up off Caitlin's bed and pack my books in my bag I kiss Caitlin on the forehead and lips before heading to Ashton's house.

I arrive at Ashton's house and I can hear faint screaming and shouting in the background. I walk up to Ashton's front door and pressed the doorbell.
Shortly afterwards the door opens and Michael drags me inside.
"Ouch."
"Luke!! You'll never guess what?" Calum shouts.
"What?"
"I told you to guess." Calum replies.
"You know I'm not good at guessing..."
"Just tell him already!" Michael shouts.
"We have been offered to go on tour around Australia!!" Calum explains.
"What?! Really??!!?!...That's sooo cool!!!"
Ashton comes out of the kitchen with a glass filled with chocolate milk. "Yeah... it is really cool... but Luke..."
I stop abruptly and stare at Ashton confused.
"But..."
"It's for a month..." Ashton finished.
"A MONTH?!"
A whole month?
Without Caitlin?
What the heck am I going to do without her for a month?
"Yeah..." Michael says.
"What about school?" I ask.
"Luke, you're like the only one that cares about school... plus its fine it's only for a month Luke. It'll be over before you know it." Calum says.
I take a seat and bury my head in both my hands.
Sigh.
"I...guess...I have to tell Caitlin... about this..."

*doorbell*
"Hey beautiful..."
"Hey lanky dork." Caitlin says.
I fake a smile; I just can't stop thinking about those 4 weeks without Caitlin by my side.
Caitlin notices.
"Luke? Are you... okay?"
"Um... yeah..."
"So what did Calum want?" Caitlin asks.
"He had some news, we've been offer to go on tour around Australia..."
"OMG! That's great! I'm so happy for you Luke!!" Caitlin says whilst hugging me. I wrap my arms around her and start stroking her back.
"Caitlin... it's for a month..."
Caitlin looks up at me and her facial expression softens.
"A month?" Caitlin says.
"Yeah...."
"All of you aren't going to be in school for a month?" Caitlin asks.
"Yeah..."
"When do you leave?"
"This Friday..." I replied.
"In 3 days?!!" Caitlin proclaims.
Tears start forming around Caitlin's eyes.
"Hey... it's okay... I know it's going to be hard without us in school... and everything but it's only for a month...I'll be back before you know it..." I say trying to hold back my tears.
Caitlin and I have never been more than 1 week apart let alone a whole month.
Caitlin starts crying into my shirt and tears start rolling down mine.
"I'm going miss you so much Luke."
"I'm going to miss you more Caitlin." I reply.
