Caitlin's P.O.V

It was the start of a brand new week of school. Everything feels strange without them not being here.

Luke had sent me a message.

Morning beautiful, have fun in school today. I'll be back before you know it. I miss you so much! You'll be fine princess. I'm always thinking of you <3 ~Luke

The first week without...

Calum.

Michael.

Ashton.

And... of course Luke...

Sigh.

I shove my bag in my locker and grab my folder before heading to English class.

I scroll along the corridors that felt so lonely and abandoned even though there were thousands of students running to get to class. It feels so strange without the 4 boys that meant to world to me... especially the boy that was my world.

Luke.

I finally arrive in class and see a new face that I have never seen before in the seat next to mine.

"Morning Caitlin." Mrs Karlsson says as I enter the classroom.

"Um... Morning miss..." I reply.

I slowly walk over to my seat and place my bag on the ground before awkwardly sitting down.

Like really awkwardly.

I can feel him staring at me, whilst I slowing take out my book in my folder.

Way to make me feel even more uncomfortable.

"Oh, Caitlin this is Ethan, he's a new student from America, he recently moved here. Could you do me a favor and show him around? You know... make him feel welcomed..." Mrs Karlsson asks.

"Um... okay."

"Thanks Caitlin." She replied.

I look over to "Ethan" and he's still staring at me.

"Um... hello..."

"Hey." Ethan replied.

He had short dark brown hair, with blue eyes. He had black skinny jeans and a light blue shirt and a grey hoodie.

The rest of my English class shortly arrived, everyone staring at Ethan just as I had been when I walked through the classroom door.

---

It was now lunch time and I had just finished science class.

It was so empty without Luke.

Everything I have done, since I was little was with Luke, he was my other half.

I'm half a heart without him. (One Direction - Half a Heart)

"Caitlin!!" I heard someone shout my name, which snaps me out my train of thought; I turn around only to see Ethan running towards me.

"Hey Ethan."

"Hey, Can I...um... Have lunch with you?" Ethan asks.

"Sure..."

"Beware the food here is disgusting." I added.

Ethan laughs.

We make our way to the canteen and grab our plates of fish and chips, before heading to the table near to window that over looked the play-ground.

It feels like torture, knowing that they weren't going to be here for a whole month.

I really hope they're okay.
