Burn (Chapter 6)

He hasn't heard me yet, so I do it quickly, I shut the only door in the room quietly so no one will hear, and walk almost right behind him. And very quickly turn him around and tackle him on the floor. And I know that in this hold, there is no escaping, so time for some answers Ace, and you can't get away from this one.Now
"What the he-, Kat.." He cut off quietly, sighing as he said my name."Ya, it's me, and I want some answers. Now." I spat loudly.
He shifted his eyes to the left and sighed. Nodding his head in the process, "What do you want to know Kat?"
"Everything" I whispered, "everything, for instance why are you ignoring me?" I said slowly raising my voice.
He nodded again looking pained and said, "I'll answer your questions, just, please let me out of your unbreakable hold." He chuckled. Oh my god, I love that sound, wait what? I slowly let go of his wrists, and sat down draping my left arm across my knee, while my other hand started helping him sit up.
"Why have you been ignoring me?" I ask again. He sighs and whispers something I couldn't make out. "What? I didn't hear you." I push.
He sighed once again, and said, "Can we talk about a different question first?"
I quickly pinned him again but a little differently than last time, instead of one of my hands holding both his wrists and my other holding me up, while my ankles were practically smashing his calfs. Each of my hands were on one of his wrists, my ankles not on his calfs, but right next to his knees, and last but not least me sitting on his chest with my face about 6 inches above his.
Ace just stares at me for a minute, taking in the situation that just rolled out. "Okay I guess that's a no then. Well, I guess this needs to come out sooner than later." He whispers to himself. He looks at me again while slowly pulling his hands from my grip, pushing himself up onto one of his elbows and brushes a lose hair from my pony tall to behind my ear with the other.
I stares into Ace's eyes completely shocked at what's happening between us when Ace's free hand pulls me toward him in a quick motion. Knocking me off balance in that little pin thing I did, and flips us, so now he's on top, in the exact pin I did.
"You want to know why I've been staying away from you?" He asked huskily, making me speechless so all I can do is nod. "Well, here's your answer." And then the least unaccepted thing happens. Ace kisses me, and I like it, a lot.
