Burn (chapter 10)

He smirks, "I don't know, do you want to?" I look at the ground quickly trying to hide my slight blush, but when I do he lifts my head and smiles slightly. "Because I would love to."

Now
I smile widely and reach up to grab his neck and pull him down to about 3 inches away from my lips. "I would love to, too." And before I can even attempt to kiss Ace, he kisses me with more passion then he ever has before. I kiss him back immediately and sigh when I hear his stupid loud watch saying we have 3 minutes tell we have to leave.

Oh ya, leaving we have to do that. How could I forget my whole future will change today. I groan loudly as he laughs, "Don't worry babe, since we are now officially together, I think we will be doing that a lot more often." Ace comments with a smirk.

Babe? I laugh and shake my head, "Let me go grab my beanie and put my shoes on and then we can leave." I say still laughing quietly to myself.

"Whatever you say babe." He leans against the counter again and smirks. I roll my eyes, okay so this babe word is going to be a thing now. Great.

I slip on my boots and head to the bathroom to put on my beanie. Making sure my hair looks as perfect as it can and run out to join Ace in my living/kitchen. But as I go to do it, it happens again. When I run, I um, super speed. It's like I'm walking and then boom, I'm at the location I wanted to go. It's freaky.

I decide that I need to tell Ace, maybe that's my special ability. Hopefully that's it or then I'm just truly going insane. I look up at Ace and realize that he is starring at me already. He opens his mouth as if he was going to say something but he just walks up to me, shakes his head, and says, "You ready?" I nod

And then Ace holds my waist and we arrive at State in less than a mili second. I stand there questionably looking at the small shack directly in front of us.

I turn to look at all the other directions, but Ace just shakes his head and nods towards the tiny ugly building. I look at him completely confused, wasn't this supposed to be some huge monument of a building not a run down piece of wood?

Ace starts to walk toward the shack and I just shake my head and follow him thinking that it's a mistake.

But it's no mistake. Walking into a shack isn't supposed to be like walking into a elevator, but it is. I laugh at my stupidity, of course it isn't a mansion it's for special people you idiot, it has to be hidden.

Ace pulls on a rock and a hidden panel shows up with about a million different switches. Ace messes with it and all you hear is a loud 'Ding' and the East wall opens up into a large lab.
