Burn (chapter 5)

It's been 3 weeks, no talking, no fighting, no rude comments, no nothing, to me that is. I thought after are little dilemma we would be, I don't know, closer somehow. I always thought complete silence would be spectacular from Ace, especially for Tyler's sake, but honestly it sucks.

I want answers, I have so many more questions than I did to begin with, it's so frustrating. I want to know why he isn't talking to me, at least a snide comment or two here and there would be better than nothing. I want to know why Ace and I have the um, burning and as far as I know no one else. I want to know why are tattoos changed forms. But most of all, I want to know Ace's back story, which to me is the most terrifying.

"And then we went to the cafe and shared a milkshake with extra whipped cream. He was so adorable!" Aw right I was supposed to be listening to Tyler's story about her date with Mike, I guess I sorta zoned out... Mike asked Tyler out 3 days after my little run in with Ace, and of course Tyler said yes.

"He walked me to my house and, God he was going to kiss me, but my stupid dad came out... It was horrible, and extremely embarrassing!" She screeched, face palming herself.

"He was just being protective Ty, cut him some stack, he's your dad." I comforted and quietly winced from her loudness.

"Uhh.. I just hope he asks m-" she was cut off with Mike covering her eyes.

"Guess who?" He says, trying to have a really deep fake voice.

"Humm... Well if it was anyone other than Mike, Kat probably would have attacked you by now, so I'm guessing Mike?" She said matter-o-factly.

"Well-" he kept talking but I just slowly walked away, it was there time together. Plus I'm sure I'll hear about it anyways later, even if I watched the whole thing.

I gripped my bag and smiled at the familiar smell of the rock walls but immediately frowned and almost dropped everything when I saw him, the guy who has been ignoring me, standing in the middle of the room, his back facing me.

He hasn't heard me yet, so I do it quickly, I shut the only door in the room quietly so no one will hear, and walk almost right behind him. And very quickly turn him around and tackle him on the floor. And I know that in this hold, there is no escaping, so time for some answers Ace, and you can't get away from this one.
