Give him money.

Harry was still coming to terms that he was stuck 20 years in the past. But, Harry had been in much worse situations and therefore had decided his best course of action was to get to Hogwart's If his calculation's were correct - which they usually were - Dumbledore would still be alive. And, if Harry used his famous 'grandson' tactic that Dumbledore had implanted into his brain, then Harry could get a failsafe spot into Hogwarts in no time. If worse came to worse, he could do the 'Malfoy tactic' - something of which Draco had taught him through his years of taunting - flaunt his money till he got his way.

So, first stop, Gringotts. Then, at least he has some time to think about his plan to get home and he could prove he's a decendant of the founder's and get basically unlimited money. That was the plan for now.

1. Go to Gringotts and try to hide that he is from the future.

2. Get unlimited money.

So Harry began his trip. He says his trip but in real honesty it was just him waiting for the night bus. He didn't even know if it was running until it showed up at his side as quick as ever.

He got on as fast as possible and asked to get to the Leaky Cauldron. It took about 30 minutes - service was rustier in the 70s apparently - and he walked straight through to the back, getting questioning stares from old men that were shrugged off in their heightened state of drunkeness. Because there is nothing remotley dodgy about a 16 year old no had ever seen before walking straight through a bar of a well known pub - well known for being the entrance to a certain wizarding world - without even a mutter of a word. And just like that, Harry was in Diagon Alley.

If anything hadn't changed it was the business of Diagon Alley before the school term. There were children and elderly and teenagers all getting ready for the new Hogwarts term - apart from the elderly, they were being trudged around by the energetic teens, slightly caffeinated but not nearly enough. Harry made his way slowly but surely through the crowd and straight to the doors of Gringotts which looked somehow younger. Harry didn't think he would ever describe a pair of iron doors as 'young' but he also never thought he'd be stuck in the 1970s so there's a first time for everything. He promptly made his way to the nearest goblin, not realising until he was closer up that he was looking at a slightly shorter Griphook.

"Griphook!" Harry started until he saw the exhasperated look on the goblin's face and once again remebered that he wasn't supposed to know these people, or exist for that matter.

"How do you know my name?" Griphook looked down his glasses at Harry, despite being shorter and somehow making himself look even more intimidating.

"Lucky guess?" Harry shrugged his shoulders and laughed a little, rubbing the back of his neck in awkwardness at his own mistake. "Anyways, um is it possible I can access my accounts."

"Do you have a key or a name for that matter?" Harry felt a sense of deja vu at the first part of the sentence, then felt like an idiot for asking for his money from someone who doesn't know who he is.

"No key and my name is Harry Potter."

"Potter?"

"Yes, sir."

"Well then Mr.Potter," Griphook seemed to spit the last part of his name out but that could just have been Harry's imagination. Probably not. "We either need a vault number and form of conformation or we need you to leave."

Harry had neither. "How about a blood test?"

"Are you sure you're willing to go through this Mr.Potter?"

"Yes?" It was more of a question than an answer, but Griphhook didn't spare any time for Harry to ponder for long as he firmly grabbed ahold of Harry's wrist and took his nail down his arm, follwing his vein until there was a line of red flowing onto a burnt-looking parchment on Griphook's desk. It didn't hurt as Harry had thought and Griphook looked surprised when Harry allowed his arm to calmly lay against his side, not a sign of pain or malice for the goblin in sight.

"Well, Mr.Potter it says here that you have access to the founders vault- THE FOUNDER VAULT!" Griphook did a double take, his eyes wide and scared. Harry assumed that he could get him fired if Harry really wanted by the look on the goblin's face and the switch of his eyes from Harry to his arm.

"Don't worry, is there some kind of way I can have access to it all the time, like a bank card or something?"

"Bank cards are new and are seemed to be unreliable."

"Okay, well can you put it on this one?" Harry pulled out his Gringott card from his 4th year to now, he had applied for one because he kept losing his money - which he soon found out was going straight to Dumbledore's and the Weasley's accounts, the only one's it wasn't going to were the twins' which explained why they were always so nice but held off with him - and he had assured himself after using it for 2 years that this would be the safest bank card to use in this era.

"Yes but this card says it's valid from 1994 that's 18 years from now."

"I can't explain it but please just try your best."

Griphhook had realised the power that Harry holds - not that Harry thought himself very powerful - and had questioned no further than that. He scurried away returning a few minutes later looking tired and Harry supposed he had to use a lot of magic to secure it. "Thank you so much Griphook, you are very kind."

Griphook only nodded his head and said, "Farewell to you Mr.Potter."
