Beverly and Adrien walked into a bakery called "Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie". There was a girl with blue hair at the register who looked starstruck when she saw Adrien. "Hi, Adrien!", she chimed. Adrien smiled. "Hi, Marinette," he responded. "You two know each other?" asked Beverly. Marinette looked embarrassed. "Yeah, we um- went to the same high school." Adrien came closer to Beverly and whispered, "I'm pretty sure she stalked me."
Marinette didn't seem like a stalker, but maybe she was. Adrien came back and whispered, "That still doesn't change my opinion of this bakery." Maybe she was a stalker, maybe she wasn't. But Beverly was still hungry.
Adrien walked up to the counter "We will have two crepes, please." Even though she had lived in France her entire life, Beverly had never had a crepe. She had been told they were good, so she went along with it. Adrien paid, thanked Marinette and they both left.
They got into Adrien's car and he started it up. "I have a question for you," asked Adrien. Beverly thought she might know what the question was. "What is it?" Adrien took a second to respond. "Is it another time yet?"
Even though Beverly knew what the question was going to be, she was still slightly shocked. "Well, what do you think?" she asked. Adrien sighed. "That's what I'm trying to ask you." Beverly didn't know what to say. But she wanted to say "Yes, it is another time." but could she?
She decided to risk it all and say "Sure." Adrien got very excited and purred.
And everything was fine and dandy as they drove off into the sunset.END OF BOOK ONE
