Two weeks after the honeymoon, Beverly should have been about two and a half months pregnant, but since her pregnancy progressed faster due to the father being a super soldier, she was really around seven months. She and Adrien had sold the mansion and moved into a gothic mansion outside of Paris to settle down.
"That's weird," said Adrien while looking in a mirror. His canines seemed to have gotten longer and sharper. "Bev, come look at this!" he yelled. Beverly walked into the bathroom holding Wheelbarrow, whose name would soon be changed.
"What is it?" she asked. "I look like a vampire," replied Adrien, showing her his new fang-looking teeth.
The next morning Beverly woke up and looked in the bathroom mirror. She noticed two small, round, seemingly fresh cuts on her neck. It looked as if she was bitten by a vampire. Adrien had just noticed fangs the day before, but he was sure he wasn't a vampire.
Later that day, Beverly decided to ask Adrien about the cuts. "Do you know anything about these cuts on my neck?" she asked him. "Oh, no... I thought it was a dream..." replied Adrien. "Thought what was a dream?" Asked Beverly.
"I thought I had a dream where I turned into a vampire and bit you. I guess it wasn't a dream. I'm so sorry, Beverly," he apologized. "Don't apologize, I love it. I've always wanted to be a vampire," She smiled, "I do have a few questions, though. Does it hurt to go outside?" "I haven't noticed much of a difference," Adrien answered.
After a week, they figured out why Adrien had become a vampire. When vampires died in Gover Boe's gang, their fangs and blood were taken out and turned into bullets. When the bullets hit someone, they would either die or turn into a vampire and join the gang. Since Adrien had killed Gover Boe, there was no gang to join. The vampires in Gover Boe's gang had been modified to be able to easily live the day or night along with being visible in mirrors.
Since Beverly was also a vampire, when the baby was born, it too would be a vampire. They weren't sure if Wheelbarrow would become a vampire, but they would find out eventually.
Beverly and Adrien had dyed their hair black upon realizing how weird it was being blonde vampires. They had also started wearing more gothic clothes to better fit their new theme.
