Beverly got into her car and backed out of the driveway. There was only one word to describe how she felt. Brocken. Once she was far enough from Draco's castle, she pulled over to the side of the road and started to cry.
Not only because she had just broken up with her slightly toxic boyfriend, but because she was now homeless. She had only sold her apartment and moved into his castle two months ago. She considered staying with Cat Noir for the night, but she didn't know where he lived in addition to being allergic to him.
She got back on the road and turned on the radio. Her favorite song was on. The Bloxburg build mode music. But for the first time ever, it didn't make her any happier. This was the song she and Draco had danced to. But it was also the song that she had listened to after her last breakup with a boy named Harry.
She pulled into a Walmart parking lot and called Cat Noir.

He picked up the phone almost immediately. He wasn't wearing his usual mask... he wasn't Cat Noir... "Beverly, what's wrong?" The boy asked. "W-who are you?" asked Beverly. He went off to the side of the screen and grabbed a black mask. "See? It's me!" Beverly was shocked. "No. It isn't. Who are you?"
"You seriously don't think my name is 'Cat Noir', do you?" She had always thought that "Cat Noir" was a strange name, but she never considered that it might be fake. "So what is your name?" Asked Beverly. He sighed. "My real name is Adrien Agreste, but you can't tell anyone about this." Cat- no, Adrien was still the same person but now, he felt like a stranger to Beverly.
"Well, I'm pretty much homeless. Draco kicked me out." She wiped the tears from her tired eyes. "Too much has happened today. You coming over, confessing whatever that was to me, Draco breaking up with me and kicking me out, which now that I think about it, was probably a good thing. Plus, your whole secret identity thing." Adrien looked sad, but only for a moment. "You can come over. I live in a mansion. My dad is super rich and he gave me a bunch of money when I moved out."
Adrien had never struck Beverly as the rich type of person. She knew that he was a superhero, and that was it. Cat Noir had been a superhero who always saved the day with Ladybug when someone got akumatized, but that was it. He had also been a mysterious person. She barely knew anything about him, but it felt like she had known everything.
Adrien interrupted her thoughts, "So you're coming over?" She paused. "I'm so stupid. I forgot about my cat allergy." Adrien thought for a moment. "I still have some extra EpiPens from when I came over earlier." Beverly lit up, "Okay, just give me your address and I'll be right over!
