Even before Beverly had moved in with Adrien, she knew how the Miraculous worked. It could be anything from a ring to a comb and it transformed Ladybug and Cat Noir from their regular everyday selves into superheroes, but putting them together could grant someone immense power. And that is exactly what HawkMoth wants. Nobody knows who HawkMoth is or what he wants to do with the Miraculous, except for his akumatized victims. But after they recovered, they would completely forget what happened.
Why of all things was she allergic to that? It was too much. Beverly broke down into tears and once again, felt brocken. Adrien was comforting her until he got an akuma alert and had to leave. After a while, Beverly got up and went outside for some fresh air. Why, when something good finally happened to her, did it have to get taken away?
Beverly decided she couldn't let this get her down. She needed a photoshoot. She put her phone on a timer and posed. When she went to look at her picture, she noticed that she accidentally took a panoramic instead of a normal picture. It was fine. She cropped the picture so it was just her and went to edit it.
Perfect! Beverly felt so good about the picture that she made it all of her social media profile pictures.
After a while, Beverly decided to leave. She got in her car and drove to the carnival. That girl and her mom were still there, but this time they were jumping at the gate of the carnival and yelling at the owner. How long had they been there?
After driving around for thirty minutes, Beverly got a text from Adrien saying that he was going home to drop off Plagg and then going to meet Beverly at a restaurant. While Beverly was driving to the restaurant, she passed the carnival. The girl, still wearing her blue dress and princess hat, and her mother were still at the gate of the carnival, jumping and screaming at the owner for kicking them out.
While driving, Adrien called Beverly to tell her that he was leaving his ring in his car so she wouldn't have an allergic reaction. Beverly was relieved at this because she had forgotten to bring an EpiPen this time, and she didn't want to risk her life to eat some Italian food.
When Beverly got to the restaurant, she found Adrien at a table and sat with him. They ate their food together and had some nice small talk. They avoided the subject of her allergies because if they talked about it, they might slip and reveal Adrien's secret.
