Even though everyone who was in Paris could go back to Paris, they didn't want to. The wedding would be in the most expensive wedding venue in all of New York and Beverly's dress was going to be over ten thousand dollars, but that was okay because Adrien was a millionaire. Gwen hadn't slept in a week.
Beverly had been throwing up all morning and Adrien was getting worried, "Mon amour, the wedding is in two weeks! You need to see a doctor!" Beverly sighed, "I think I already know what it is."
"Dr. Strange, you're a Doctor, right?" asked Adrien. Dr. Strange turned around from his Swedish breakfast, "I was a neurosurgeon, but then I became a wizard," he said. "Okay, so can you help?" asked Adrien, "Bev has been sick all morning."
"I'll go see her," said Dr. Strange as he knocked on the door of the bathroom where Beverly was with Adrien following close behind. "You can come in!" yelled Beverly. Dr. Strange opened the door, "So you've been sick all morning? Is there a chance you might be pregnant?" he asked, already knowing the answer. "Yeah, probably," Beverly coughed. "Well then," Strange started, "You should probably get a pregnancy test or something."
"I'll run to the store to get one!" Adrien beamed. "I'd probably get more than one, you can always get false negatives or positives," Strange chimed in.
Ten minutes later, Adrien ran into the IKEA bathroom where Beverly was with a plastic grocery bag, "I got three in just in case!" "Merci, Adrien," Beverly smiled.
Fifteen minutes later, Beverly came out of the bathroom with three positive pregnancy tests in hand. Even though she was sure that Adrien wasn't the father, she decided to show him the tests first. "Oh my god, Bev," whispered Adrien. "I knew it," Beverly chuckled. "So, now I have two kids?" asked Adrien.Beverly had almost forgotten about Wheelbarrow. While Adrien was gone, everyone except for her took care of him. Beverly was too busy being sad. Then, when Steve came along she was too occupied, trying to get with him to take care of Wheelbarrow.
"I guess you do," Beverly lied. They decided that she would reveal her pregnancy at the wedding.Later that night, Beverly couldn't sleep. The Twilight-themed bedroom with a crib that had Wheelbarrow in it in the corner was definitely not helping.
Gwen was finally getting some rest for the first time in a week when Beverly woke her up like a child would wake their mom after throwing up in the middle of the night. "Gwen...Gwen..." she whispered, trying not to wake Peter. Gwen woke up, "Yes?" "I need to talk to you, Gwen," murmured Beverly. They went to the restaurant to discuss.
"Gwen, I know I can trust you. Adrien is the only person who knows. I might tell Steve, but I'm not sure yet," Beverly began. "What is it?" asked Gwen. "I'm pregnant. Adrien isn't the father, Steve is," Beverly confessed. Gwen gasped, "Does Adrien know that Steve is the father?" Beverly sighed, "No, he doesn't know. I don't know if I'll ever tell him." "I'm so sorry, and I really want to help, but I've been so busy planning your wedding that this is the first time I've slept in a week. Could this wait until the morning?" Gwen said exhaustedly. "Oh yes, of course. I'm so sorry, Gwen," said Beverly.
