Beverly slowly opened her eyes to see a white room that looked too familiar, the hospital. She sat up and looked around. She was regaining her perception of reality when nurses and doctors screamed and ran into her room.
"SHE'S AWAKE! OH MY GOD, SHE'S AWAKE!!" one nurse yelled. Doctors stared at her in disbelief. "A-Am I okay?" Beverly asked softly. A nurse with short red hair shook her and yelled, "ARE YOU OK? MA'AM, YOU WERE DEAD!" "Wait, that's impossible," she replied. "We thought so too, but here you are. You had flatlined for 10 minutes," a tall doctor said back.
"DO YOU REMEMBER ANYTHING??? HOW IS GOD?? IS HE TALL?? WAS HE GLOWING??" the nurse questioned. The doctor then pulled the nurse back and sucker-punched her. "OH MY GOD!" Beverly screamed. "Don't worry sweetheart, she's my daughter," said the doctor as he threw the bleeding woman out the door. "Clean up on aisle 5," he yelled out as he laughed.
Beverly stared in shock as she crawled away and sang a haunting song. She had no memory of a song, but chills were sent down her spine when she heard it. The doctor turned back to Beverly and smiled. "We are so glad that you died in this Las Vegas hospital. We are going to be legends."
Beverly was very confused. How on Earth did she get from Paris to Las Vegas? And happened to Wheelbarrow? The first question that came out of Beverly's mouth was, "Where is Adrien?" The doctor was confused. "Nobody named Adrien has come here today. There was a man named Cat Noir who ran in here like lightning for us to save you." That left Beverly even more confused. "Why did he bring me here? We were in Paris!" The doctor took out a clipboard and flipped through some pages. "He said that he googled 'the least busy hospital right now,' and it said here."
That seemed about right. There weren't many patients and the doctors and nurses didn't seem too busy. Beverly looked around. "Is Wheelbarrow here?" The doctor looked through the clipboard again. "No, I never have in my life met someone named Wheelbarrow." Beverly sighed "Yeah, it's the stupidest name I've ever heard." Just as Beverly asked the question, she remembered what happened. Ladybug broke into the mansion and stole the baby. Where was the baby? Where was Adrien? All that Beverly could do now was leave the hospital.
