As her eyes opened, Beverly was greeted with the smell of sizzling bacon. She walked down the winding stairs into the kitchen. "Hey babe,'' She said trying not to come off suspicious. Adrien turned around and jumped into her arms. "How was your night, m'lady?" he asked. "Oh. Um, good!" she replied. He smiled and replied, "I'm glad. Well, here is our breakfast," Adrien said as he laid down the warm plates of bacon, eggs, and pancakes on his table. "Adrien?" Beverly asked. "Yes, my love," he said back.
She decided to take a risk and ask, "Um... about L-Luka, how is he?" "Actually, I don't know," he said while stuffing eggs in his mouth. "Oh, okay," she replied, but he couldn't fool her.
Beverly saw the distinctive pain flash in his eyes at the name. She knew that he knew about Luka. "Well, I have to go," Beverly said as she rushed to pick up her mess. All she wanted to do was see him. It was a wave of feelings she has never felt before. She had to go, so she did.
"Where are you going?" she heard from a distance. "Oh um somewhere, to the store, I'll be ba-," but her stream of words was cut off by the sound of the doorbell. All she wanted to do was leave but at the same time avoid as much suspicion as she could.
She dropped her bag and yelled, "I'll get it," Opening the door she gasped. It was him—the amogus impostor. The impostor walked in without even saying hello.
As soon as Beverly walked out the door, the imposter took off their helmet. Chloe. "Long time no see, Adrikins." Adrien was shocked. "C-Chloe? How do you know where I live?" She laughed, "Nothing for you to worry about." Adrien sighed, "Chloe, I'm serious. How do you know where I live?" "Well, if you really want to know," Chloe chuckled, "My daddy hooked me up with a job with the FBI! I did it to find you." "Why did you need to find me, Chloe? You could have anyone you want! Why me?"
Chloe rolled her eyes, "Well, you're rich, you're a model, and you're like, really hot. It's simple." Adrien still didn't know why Chole had gone to such great lengths to get him. "Well, sorry Chloe, but I'm with Bev now. I don't need you." Chloe groaned. "Adrien Agreste! You're ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"
"Chloe, something feels off," said Adrien. "What do you mean, Adrikins?" "There's this vague memory of us." "Of course, dummy", Chloe said as she walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.
Another memory hit him. Since he visited the hospital, he has been slowly regaining his consciousness from before. It was just little triggers that unlocked vital parts of his life that he had forgotten about.
This time, it was the memory of him and Chloe on a trip to some tropical island. They were in the plane, sipping mimosas, and suddenly they were kissing under the stars. The more he thought about it, the more memories disgusted him. But there was one memory, one too unbearable to think about. He tried to distract himself by speaking.
"Okay, Chloe, I think I remember most of it." Chloe squealed, "Of course you do, Adrien! We were very cute together, ya know." "Just tell me what you want, Chloe. I'm not the same guy from last year. I don't love you anymore, honestly, I can't see how I did for those weeks in Hawaii." "Adrien, you're right. You aren't the same guy from that trip. Now, you're a dad!"
While Chloe was bearing some unexpected news, Beverly was driving to see her one source of stableness in life, Draco.
When she arrived at his castle, she started to cry. Why did she ever cheat on him? What did he do to deserve that? Well, a lot, actually. Right as she raised her hand to knock on his door, he opened it. He screamed and slammed it in her face. She was surprised and confused, but before she could ponder any further, he slowly opened his door and peeked out.
"Beverly!!" He yelled in excitement as he pulled her in for a hug. "D-Draco this is kinda weird," she said as she laughed off the uncomfortable situation. "Well, I was just heading out for some tea, but please come inside!'' he replied. "Oh! And don't forget to take your shoes off!" he added. Beverly coughed as she breathed in the smokey, incense-filled air. "Wow, very spiritual in here, Draco," she said as she looked around the now rustic boho-themed room.
"Well," Draco started, "I recently unlocked my spiritual side." "Really?" Beverly asked in a questioning tone. "Yes! Oh, and do you want me to clear your Chakra?" Draco asked. "Oh. Um- no thank you," she replied while inspecting the newly decorated living room.
"Draco?" Beverly asked. "Yes?'' he replied. "This may be overstepping boundaries but, this... all of this. It really doesn't seem like you," Beverly said. "Oh well, I understand the questioning of my new change, but I found my people!" Draco said as he waved a burning sage stick in the air. "When I was heading out my door," Draco started, "I was heading to a meeting with my cult!"
Beverly quickly spun her head in surprise. She stared at Draco, waiting for him to reveal that his statement was a joke, but he just stared into her eyes. Draco sensed her worry and said, "I know, I know you are scared for me, but truly our leader has helped us see the beauty and power of Barry!" "W-Whos Barry?" Beverly questioned. "Oh, Barry Bee Benson, of course!" Draco turned around and started to talk more about his cult and their morals while inspecting his crystals.
Beverly slowly backed away, silently opened the door, and left. She ran to her car and fumbled in her jacket for his keys. She quickly drove away while Draco threw eggs at her car. "This is why I kicked you out!"
