My eyes opened slowly, the bed was cold. I was alone. I slowly sat up ignoring my soreness. I was determined to take a shower, get cleaned up, and get my youngest sibling back. I throw the covers away and walk into the bathroom, but I pause in front of the mirror. I cuss at the bruises peppering my skin, my eyes rolling as I turn the shower on. "Had to given in, huh?" I mock myself, laughing a bit at the memory. I step in the warm running water, washing last night's events from my body.

After I shower, I walk out in a towel. I rifle through my pants and grab one of his shirts. I wanted to wear something large and baggy, hiding a lot of the bruising. I stood putting the clothes on while the door opens. I pull the shirt on with my back turned to the door, arms wrapped around my waist and I let out a long sigh. "What do you want?" I sigh leaning back slightly, I felt a breathy laugh leave his mouth as it's pressed to my neck. "What are you going to give me more hickeys?" I playfully jabbed my finger against his forehead.
"You didn't seem to want me to stop last night." He shot back, lifting his head from my shoulder. I roll my eyes, pushing him off of me.
"Yeah, yeah." I brush it off, pushing past him. "What time is it anyway?"
I look over at him as he starts to strip the bed, "umm, about 2 pm." He says looking back at me, "your ex stopped by saying to be ready at 8, something about that being the perfect time to head over." He pauses for only a second, "I really hate that guy." I nod taking in the information.
"He's an ass... but sadly useful." I sit on the now exposed mattress, my eyes running up to Dabi's eyes. "I want to believe him because I want my sibling back but... what if it's not true? What if it's all a lie?" I confess my worries, my eyes brimming with tears at this opportunity falling through my fingers. His hand heavily lands on my head, he just smirks at me.
"Then I'll burn the whole place down." His voice was powerful but the words held a kindness. I smiled widely up at him, grabbing the shirt that loosely sat around my body.
"Thank you, Dabi."

...Time skip...

I sat on top of a building, my eyes looking over the docks. Men walk around, most wearing face coverings. Dabi stood beside me, hands stuffed in his pockets, nose turned up at the scene. Ueda, my ex, was late of course. Just like nothing had changed. The night was cold and the wind didn't help, the smell of salt was thick in the air. I felt Dabi's eyes on my back, as I glared daggers at the building between me and my sister. "Hey sorry, we are late." Ueda's voice pulls me back to reality, I glare at the man understandable upset. A woman with black hair and white eyes waves to me from behind him.
"Hello, I don't know if you remember but my name is Chiba Yumi (last then first)." Her voice was smooth like silk, rather warm. "We fought in the ring not too long ago."
"Oh, I don't remember that night well, I was quite drunk," I say kinda flatly, thinking about the mission more.
"You're always drunk," Dabi says under his breath looking forward, I lightly elbow him, earning a slight smirk when he looks down at me.

We all went over the plan, it's supposed to be a pretty clean retrieval, Chiba is going to lead using her ghost quirk to check the halls. Ueda will try to use 'instant lover' to control the guards. If they are out of his age range I'm supposed to quickly kill them by trapping them in a gas-filled box. Dabi was a last resort. He was there in case everything goes tits up and we gotta escape quickly.

I breathed in deeply and we all approached our entrance, Chiba phased through the wall and unlocked a rarely used door. She quickly let us enter the warehouse. I was so nervous, this was it, I was so close to my sister. My last bit of family I had left. We quietly walked through the halls, it was quite empty. But voices were soon heard, "man, the boss needs to give us a fucking break. These kids crying is so annoying." A man complained from around the corner.
"Your lucky he gives us a break if it wasn't for the 2nd in command I doubt we would even have one."
"Will you shut the FUCK up!? Your whining is growing obnoxious." A third man yelled, and the sound of something being hit echoes through the halls.
"You're just pissy that your hoe dropped you." The first man scoffed.

Ueda fixes his shirt collar before walking out smiling. "Boys, boys, your all be so loud." His voice was cocky and smooth. I watched from my hiding spot watching carefully. "Don't you want to have some fun?~" He let out a soft chuckle.
"W-what the hell!?" I heard shaking metal, "Yuri? Saiki? What the hell is wrong with you!?"
"Boys~ point your guns at your friend." I hated this, I knew that feeling. That willingness to do anything for him, to please him. "(Y/N), go on do your thing." I let out a sigh and step out.

I finally saw the scene, hand guns were pointed at an older man. The two over guys had eyes glowing a bright fluorescent pink. I walk foward activating my quirk, the thought of the children being locked up filled my mind. Anger filled my chest, I grab the man's head quickly, within a second a box surrounded us. Gas fills the man's lungs, his violent coughs brought me joy. I sick smile crossed my face. "Fucking choke." Rumbles from my throat. I don't give this guy a chance to pray if he so chose. I just ended him. His body falls, I wait in the box until I was sure he was dead.

When I released the box I was met with Dabi, he pulled me along the next hall. No one spoke. The two love-struck soldiers following Ueda absolutely obedient. My eyes look over them for only a moment when I notice their boners I quickly turn away. 'I hate his quirk so much.'
