I looked at the address and the time, I didn't know where it was exactly but I think I knew the main area it was. It was on the sketchier side of town, I sat on my bed. My outfit was on and a long, black, lightweight trench coat sat atop it. I knew better than to walk around in my new outfit, it would be troublesome if I left my home. I was seen by someone who took account of my appearance and reported to the police once I made my debut. My body slowly pulled me upward to a standing position, I walked out and into my living room. I stared at the door and sighed, last night's unwanted encounter played in my mind. "Damn, I'm fucking pathetic." I grabbed my keys and walked out my door, it was about mid-day. I was to be there by 6 pm, and if I was to walk and wander, I'd probably should start now. I walked down the hall, a woman was struggling to put the keys in her door while holding two bags of groceries. I sigh a little and walk over, "do you need help, Miss?" I asked, she looked at me.
"Oh, if you wouldn't mind. I can't seem to do it..." she had dark green hair that stopped at her shoulders, she was a shorter and rounder woman.
I take the keys from her and unlock her door for her, she walks in. I hold the keys out to her, she takes them. "You could join us for dinner, if you wish." She smiles gently.
"Not tonight, miss. I have other plans. But thank you." I smile back.
"Then come tomorrow, I'm Midoriya Inko." She introduces.
"I'm (L/N) (Y/N), it's nice to meet you. I'd gladly have dinner with you tomorrow." I nod, introducing myself as well.
"Dinner will be at 6 pm, don't be late."
"I won't." I shake my head and she closes the door.
I leave the complex, smiling. I had dinner plans tomorrow, it's something to look forward to at least. It'll be nice to finally have a meal with someone other than myself for once... I think this may be the first time in a few months where I've eaten with another person. My eyes moved skyward and the sky was darkening, the clouds were rolling in. I sigh a little and continue to walk down the road, as I walk, I noticed people swarming around an alleyway. As I approached; I noticed the police were there. I looked down to a body laying face down on the pavement. This was not the man I killed the night prior, it was only a block or two from my home. I looked around and saw that the walls were black from what I could only guess had to be from a fire of some sort, my eyes look further in seeing maybe another body or two? I sigh and walk down the road, returning to my walk. The wind started to pick up and my (H/L) hair moved in front of my face some, my eyes met the leaves on the trees, the leaves were flipping over, showing the pale underside. "Damn, must be rain." I mumbled under my breath.
My eyes scan the crowds for any interesting people, I watch many different types of quirks. Some physical, others not. One man stood fixing a lamp post, but his legs extended so he had no need for a ladder. Further down the road had a woman yelling up to her floating child, I slowly approached the woman. The child was a go 6 feet in the air. "Mommy! Look at me--" Then the child started to fall, and the child started to stream. Without a proper plan, my feet start to move. I jumped pushing off a trash can, I grabbed the child and clamped my hand over his mouth. My cube encased us both, I moved so he was on top of me when I hit. The cube should soften my fall, as soon as the gas started to fill the cube too much, I broke it. It mostly was dissipated enough to make it safe, I uncovered his mouth and the mother ran over. "Oh my, Charlie!" The boy coughs a little but gets up and runs over to her, I just laid on the sidewalk. My back was aching and probably bruised, "Thank you, Miss! Are you okay?" I heard the woman ask, I just gave her a thumbs up, I started to hear people running over. I panic and get up, my eyes meet a policeman trying to get past the crowd, 'they haven't seen me yet.' I wink at the woman and start to run down the street and into an alley.
I ran for a few blocks before stopping in a park, I pant hard and placed my hands on my knees. My body was aching from the back pain and yesterday's events. The park was quiet and peaceful, I started to think about were I was supposed to be in a few hours, I check my phone for the exact time,2:13. 'Damn, it's only been a little over an hour.' I sigh and start heading east, rain starts to lightly pelt my skin. My feet walked slower than normal, as I took in the soft sound of the rain hitting leaves and the wind rustling through the trees. Memories of my family flood my mind.
"Sis! Let's play a game in the rain!" I looked over at my youngest sister, she wore rain boats and a over sized red raincoat.
"Are the others joining us?" I asked, buttoning my own matching coat.
"I asked Eiko but he said no, but everyone else said, sure! Even Dad!" She giggled and opened the back door running into the back yard, I saw the others walk down as well.
"Come on slow pokes, Yuki already outside waiting." I smile and look out to her splashing in a small puddle.
When I came too, my eyes were downward and staring at a small puddle. I hadn't even noticed the rain become heavier and tears slipping from my eyes.
