(Y/N) stood still, a sadistic smile across her face. The other woman moved into a fighting stance, slowly moving to the side. But (Y/N) remained still, body unmoving, everything seemed calm about her demeanor. Suddenly the other girl was on her, her fist colliding with her face. The crowd cheered as (Y/N) tumbled back, but as fast as she was hit, a box of gas surrounding them. (Y/N) smiled wider as the gas increased, but the other woman coughed for a moment before becoming transparent. She quickly steps out of the box and deactivates her quirk, as she coughs holding her throat. The crowd goes silent, everyone waiting for the next move. A laugh leaves (Y/N)'s throat, a crazed look fills her eyes. "Not what you expected, was it?" Her tone was soft but held this weight to it. Her eyes were aglow, emphasizing the power she held. The box cracks as she steps through it, it completely shattering when no creature stood in it. A smoke dripped from her mouth as the rest of the gas disappeared, "to be completely honest no one has ever left my forcefield. I had one idea that the box could still retain its shape if I was the only one in it."

Dabi looked in both awe and discomfort, something about this pushed him the wrong way. The way she moved and carried herself was similar to when she killed those guys at the bar. Done to even the monologuing. It was clear that (Y/N) is going through a tough time, taking it out on anyone she could. But her confidence could be her downfall, she clearly thought that as long as they made contact with her she had one the fight. The ignorance of others was her advantage but as long as she was once a U.A. it would be simple to find out her abilities.

The crowd remained silent, so quiet you could hear a pin drop from the hallway. The woman glared up at her opponent, as she was stared down upon. But (Y/N) didn't falter, the box suddenly encased them once more, but this time the box began to slowly fill the whole arena. The woman panicked trying to faze out of the box. And as the box hit the edges, the woman decided living was better than winning and fazed outside of the fencing; forfeiting the match. (Y/N) leaned against the fencing dropping the cube of death again, panting out the gas. Clearly close to her limit or maybe already over it.

...Dabi's POV...

I sat there taken aback slightly, this must be how she truly acts. This force that looks down on the people she wishes to kill, but I also want to know where this anger stems from. Where it's meant to be going. The crowd begins to cheer for her, but a few boos of course. She was escorted off the stage. I stand up, ready to leave now. I glanced down at my cracked phone, the time reading 3:14 AM. It was late enough that I was starting to feel a little drowsy myself. As soon as (Y/N) returned to the table I grab her by the arm and start to drag her out of the room. She puts up little resistance, she was fumbling over her own feet. She was exhausted, her entire demeanor no longer holding the dark aura it once had.

During the walk home at some point, I pick her up, holding her over my shoulder like a sack of flour. She falls asleep within minutes, her soft snores being the only sound besides the crickets. I approached my apartment complex, lights still on in some people's homes. I walk up the stairs, my head tilted downward. I unlock the door and sigh heavily, flicking the light on the home seemed the same as when I left it. I walk inside and heading straight to the bedroom, tossing the heavy woman on the bed. "God, you stink." I groan to myself and begin to debate on changing her clothes. "Fuck it, it's nothing new." I roll my eyes and grab the shirt she wore the night prior, I remove her shirt and replace it with my own. I toss her shirt to the side. It was stained in a few drinks and needed to be cleaned desperately. After that, I get myself ready for bed.

...(Y/N)'s POV...

I felt warmth cover my entire body, moving felt like a sin. I stayed silent and unmoving for God knows how long, I had no perception of time nor did I care. This feeling of vulnerability and yet this vague sense of safety. Anything could happen while I lay there, unmoving. I let my mind drift and wander calling on my past memories.

...

"You're a big sister (Y/N), you have to set an example for your siblings. Can you do that for me?" Your mother's voice spoke quietly to a middle school version of yourself. You sat quietly, your eyes glued to the bushes outside. The car sat parked in front of a police station. "Please understand that we only want what's best for you. Darling, don't go down this path... please..." Her voice became slightly shaky, you turn to the worrying woman.
"Mom... am I a bad kid?" This was all you could muster up. This tightness filled your chest, you nervously pull on your ripped-up sleeves. "I-I didn't mean to get arrested... That other girl started it! She was acting like a bit- big meaning!" You quickly corrected yourself, not wanting to cuss in front of your mother.
"Listen, (Y/N), we are in rolling you in U.A., you need to get your act together. So until you do that you're going to remove your pricing, remove the dye from your hair, and you're grounded until you start U.A." Her tone becoming more serious.

...

I listened to the door slowly creak open. I open my eyes, a headache suddenly hit me like a truck.
