Annoyed Josh

Ely and Kyle became much closer as the shooting goes by. Kyle is sweet and funny, Ely might have a smooth relationship with Johnny but since he's Josh brother Ely maintained a distance.

But with Kyle, it's different. She found herself really fond of him. He's easy to deal with, and being a director, Ely finds it easy to talk things with Kyle. They share the same point of views.

And as the days passes by, Ely and Kyle have this certain bond. They're very at ease, they laugh, and they talk and share stories of their life at each other. For Ely, Kyle is such a nice guy.

But for Josh, they're not meant to be together. Every time he saw Ely laughs with Kyle he can't help but be annoyed.

'I hate that woman laugh' that's what he always told to himself. But the truth of the matter is he hates seeing Ely laugh on Kyle's corny jokes. 'Superficial happiness' that's what he thought of Ely's laugh when she's with Kyle.

He tried to ignore the forming relationship between those two for weeks, but today it was different. Ely seems to flirt with Kyle and he doesn't like it. When Ely laughs again with a slight pat on Kyle's thigh, Josh didn't manage to ignore it.

'That's it' he said to himself. Josh stand up from his chair and walks towards Ely and Kyle.

"Kyle, could you give us a minute please."

Ely was surprised, Kyle look at Josh confused but he said "Okay" and left Ely with Josh. He occupied the seat left by Kyle and said:

"You think I don't know what you are up to?"

Ely is confused and her eyebrows crossed as she looks at Josh.

'What have I done this time?' she asked herself.

"I know what kind of games you are playing Ely, and Kyle is my friend. I wouldn't let him fall on your trap."

"I am not playing games with Kyle; he's a good man and..."

Josh butt-in.

"Yeah he is a good man and as a friend it is my responsibility to protect him from a woman like you."

"A woman like me, what's that supposed to mean?"

"You don't honestly think I forget, didn't you?"

Ely plastered a confused look.

"Jersey" Josh smirks.

Ely didn't know how to react, she was speechless.

"Quit playing games with Kyle Ely, he deserves someone better, someone who knows how to regard herself and not by someone who would like him because he's famous."

Josh looks at Ely, he met her eyes. Ely was shocked. Then he rise up from the chair. But before he can walk Ely grabbed his arm.

"You don't know me Josh; anyone can judge me but not you. Don't talk and judge me because you have no idea what kind of person I am."

"Oh yes I do Ely, I know you too well..." Josh look at her straight in her eyes and said "I know when you flirt." Josh squint and tilt "I was your first remember?"

Ely ready herself to slap Josh when Liza interrupts them.

"Ely, Johnny wants to see you." Liza didn't notice the fight starting between her and Josh. She smiled at Josh and said "Hello gorgeous"

Josh smiled back and said "Hey Liza" then he left.

Ely took a deep breath, her eyes becomes teary. She is shaking; she sat on the chair and holds herself. She needs to breathe, or she will burst into tears.

"Are you okay Ely?" Liza slightly put a grasp on her shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm fine" Her voice shivers.

"What is it? Is there something wrong?"

"He remembers."

"He remembers what? Who did remember?"

"Josh...Jersey..." Ely can't help but cry. Not because Josh remember but because of what Josh thought of her.

"I don't think I understand what you are saying my friend."

"You know exactly what I am saying Liz." Ely look at Liza "Josh, the man in Jersey...Levy" she almost whispered.

"Oh...my...God...I knew it" Liza said in a loud voice.

"Shush..Could you please turn your voice down, he doesn't know about Levy and I have no intention of telling him."

"And how would you manage to keep a secret like that?"

"I don't know" Ely is confused "But I will do everything to avoid him."

"Well" Liza occupied the chair next to her "Good luck my friend, because the way I see things there is no way you can avoid that ruggedly handsome."

Ely looks at Liza. 'She's right' Ely said to herself. She's affected with Josh presence. After all this years she thought she has gotten over him but she's not.

"You won't tell anyone about Levy right?" Ely want some assurance from her best friend.

"What kind of friend do you think I am?" Liza glared at her "But I will tell Tony." Liza winked.

"I guess Tony already knew?"

"Yeah, he's suspicious, but now I am going to confirm him that suspicion and don't worry your secret is safe with us."

"Thanks Liz"
