The Girl Is Mine

After Ely's performance she occupied her seat, she's seating in between Johnny and Kyle. Another one performs on the stage and Ely is so engrossed when she heard a whisper on her ears.

"What a theme song."

It was Josh, her eyes searched for Johnny for he sat on that chair. He now occupied the chair of Josh. Ely didn't notice that they exchange their places.

"What do you want?" Ely asks with hostility.

"I just want to make things clear." Josh squint her eyes a little.

"I am not interested."

"Alright, I'll tell you anyway." Josh rests his arm on the back rest of her chair. From afar it looks like he's embracing Ely. Considering his face is close to Ely's ears.

"First, I didn't hurt you with my goodbye because you are the one who left that morning, I never had the chance to say goodbye."

Ely turn to Josh their face is so close and their eyes meet.

"Even if I had that chance I don't think I would." Josh looked straight into her eyes.

Ely gasped, the way Josh look at her...he's not just staring he is looking through her.

"Second" Josh continue. "I didn't expect you will crumble, like I said you're the one who said goodbye, so if there is someone who should crumble and die that would be me."

"I don't understand?" Ely said. She is really confused.

"I'll tell you everything on dinner."

"Are you asking me out?"

"Stop playing dumb Ely, I know you're better than that."

Before Ely can answer, Kyle approaches the stage and dedicates his song to Ely. Everybody clapped. It's no secret to the cast and crew that Kyle courts Ely. Then a duet of Michael Jackson and Paul Anka's song the girl is mine start. Kyle gently sways to the thirteen seconds intro to avoid his nervousness.

Every night she walks right in my dreams

Since I met her from the start

I'm so proud I am the only one

Who is special in her heart

The girl is mine

Ely is surprised, their colleagues shout and cheers for Kyle.

The doggone girl is mine.

"Interesting" Josh whispered to Ely's ear. Ely look at Josh before she can say anything Josh rushed to the stage and gets another microphone; he waited till Kyle finished the Michael Jackson verse.

I know she's mine

Because the doggone girl is mine.

Then Josh sings the Paul Anka's part.

I don't understand the way you think

Saying that she's yours not mine

Sending your roses and your silly dreams

Really just a waste of time

'What is he doing?' Ely thought. The crowd cheers. Ely felt embarrass, Kyle dedicate the song to her and Josh sings along with Kyle is a giveaway. Josh continues.
