It's About Time (part 2)

"I'll get it" Kyle said to Ely. He was referring to answer the door for Ely.

Ely nods, she checked on Levy, when Kyle opened the door Josh and Johnny greeted him with a handshake. Johnny had a basket full of fruits and chocolates while Josh had some flowers on him.

Ely stands up when they entered the living room, Levy remained seated on the couch.

"I brought Johnny with me" Josh said while he hand the flowers to Ely "I hope you won't mind."

Ely smiled while she accepted the flowers "It's okay" she said "I'm glad you did Levy needs to know her..." Ely stopped; she looked at Levy, her daughter remained sitting on the couch, well behaved, that is really unusual.

Ely felt nervous, she went to Levy and asks her to stand up and walk towards Josh and Johnny. Levy is very shy, Ely bend her knees to look at Levy's eyes.

"Sweetheart, remember I told you will meet your father tonight?"

Levy nods.

"That's your father" Ely points to Josh.

Levy looked at the two fine gentlemen in front of her, she was confused. She turns her look at her mother and asked:

"Which one?"

There's a soft laughs that came from each and every one of them. Josh moves towards Levy and bend his knees in front of Levy and Ely.

"Hi" Josh said, he smiled at Levy uncomfortably.

"Hello" Levy answered, she's also uncomfortable.

"Levy sweetheart." Ely said "You know Mr. Scurlock right?"

Levy nods again.

"Well, Mr. Scurlock...I mean Josh is your father Levy."

There was no reaction from Levy; she just stared at her father.

"Hi again" Josh smiled and waved his hand a little, he felt the awkwardness.

"When mommy told me my dad is famous I thought about you." Levy said.

Josh chuckles "Is it a bad thought or a good one?"

Levy smiled a little, and then her little hands cupped Josh's face.

"I was actually hoping it would be you." Levy said.

Josh was surprised; he didn't stop himself to embraced Levy.

"Oh levy!" he lift Levy, he looked at her and said: "I'm glad you do because I was hoping you are my child." Then he hugged Levy again, he was laughing and crying at the same time.

Ely is so overwhelmed that she can't help but cry also. Kyle comforts her.

When Josh introduced Levy to Johnny Levy said:

"Now I know where I got my looks."

Johnny laughs; he looked at Ely and said:

"What did you do to raise such a beautiful kid?"

Ely didn't answer, instead she released a soft sobs, and she was so overwhelmed with how Levy accepted her father and her uncle Johnny. She wrapped her arms around Kyle and continues to cry.

"Tears of joy" Kyle said when he saw Josh and Johnny looking at them.

"I'm so sorry" Ely said, she wiped her tears off her face.

"It's okay" Johnny answered "This is a very emotional evening."

"Are you going to stay for dinner Dad, Uncle Johnny?" Levy asked.

Ely and Josh were surprised, Levy accepting Josh is kind of surprising but calling him Dad in an instant that was beyond surprising.

"Yes kiddo!" Kyle replied to Levy, he felt the surprised coming from Ely and Josh that he needs to save them "Your Dad and Uncle Johnny will stay for dinner."

They all went to the dining table. Josh seats next to Levy, they catch up with Uncle Johnny, and as Ely watched her kid with her father and her Uncle Johnny she can't help but smile, She was so thankful, things really turn out the way she planned.

She held Kyle's hand and said: "I did it!"

"Yes you did!" Kyle answered "Now everything will be fine." Kyle added as he kisses her on her cheek.

"Thank you babe." Ely said.

"You're welcome" Kyle answered.

Josh attention is maybe with Johnny and Levy but at the corner of his eyes, he's watching Ely and Kyle. And he was saddened seeing Ely being sweet with Kyle. Tonight is one of the happiest evening of his entire life. Knowing Levy is the best thing that ever happened to him. But it would be better if Ely is with him and not with Kyle.

As he watched Ely giggling with whatever Kyle is telling her, Josh made a promise to his self.

'If I can win my daughter's affection, the daughter who didn't know me since birth, I will definitely win Ely's affection again. I'm so sorry Kyle my friend, but Ely is meant to be with me. We are born to be together.'
