As soon as the words left me, I immediately wanted them back in my mouth and left unsaid. But what's done is done.

I said it.

I told Sky I loved her.

I'm not sure if it was just a 'heat of the moment' kind of thing or if this was meant to be said at this time. This might be the only time I can get her before Calum completely takes her away.

Sky's eyes were wide open. Wide. Open. They looked like they would just pop out at any moment.

It was only making me regret saying it even more.

Oh god. Did she not feel the same? Is she disgusted now? Is she going to run back to Calum and tell him what a loser I am?

Oh god.

Once she seemed to have comprehended what I had told her, she looked nervous, shy, but confident at the same time.

"Luke.." God. Just the way she said my name made my heart race.

"Luke, I.. I don't know what to say.."

God dammit. She didn't feel the same, I swear I could feel my heart ripping.

Might as well make this memorable before it's over.

"I don't know what to say other than-" I was too scared to hear what she was going to say. Instead of letting her finish, I grabbed her face with both my hands and kisses her.

I kissed her with as much love and passion I could muster, in hopes that maybe, just maybe it will change her mind and she'll leave Calum for me.

At first she didn't kiss back, but after a few seconds she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back with the same amount of force.

She played with the ends of my hair, and God that was driving me crazy.

I kissed her slowly, keeping a sweet pace and gently pushing her so she laid down on her bed. I crawled over her and kept myself up by my forearms, but I never broke the kiss.

I gently pulled away and tilted my head to softly kiss her neck, lightly sucking there. A small moan left Sky's lips, and it was pretty hard to control myself after that.

I lightly nipped her neck, smiling when I heard her whimper. My whole plan for this evening was ruined when I felt her small hands land on my chest and gently push me back.

"Luke, We can't, I can't do this. I'm not ready."

I stood there staring at her, dumbfounded for a moment. Maybe my ego was hurt just a little bit. But I wasn't going to push it.

"Oh, um. Yeah. That's ok. Yeah, that's ok." I began to lift myself off of her but I stopped when I watched her eyes lower down my body, and stop down there.

Then she giggled.

Fucking giggled.

"Well, that looks painful." Sky cockily said as she looked up to meet my eyes. I glanced down and instantly felt my cheeks beginning to scorch red.

I grabbed the nearest pillow and moved it under me to hide the cause of my embarrassment. I awkwardly lifted myself off the bed and began shuffling to Sky's bathroom.

Once my hand was on the door and I was opening it, I was stopped by Sky's sweet voice calling my name.

"Luke?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you too."
