"You're such a dork." Sky tells me once again once we have settled down on her couch watching a series of Tom and Jerry. I look over at her and grin. "But you love me." She rolls her eyes, but her smile is still plastered on her face. "Shut up, Hemmings"

I chuckled at her and laid down to get more comfortable, my head ends up resting on her lap. She doesn't seem to mind though, which I'm grateful for because honestly I've never felt more safe or more secure than here in Sky's arms, in her love and care.

She looks down into my eyes and lazily smiles, I can't help but smile back. When she's happy, I'm happy. She turns her head back towards the tv, but as she watches her cartoons she plays with my hair, twirling it in her finger or running her fingers through it. I sigh, completely content at the moment.

I close my eyes and all I can think about is Sky. Her hands running through my hair, her eyes, her smile, the sound of her voice, the cute thing her nose does when she laughs, her. Lately my thoughts have been her. It's always been her. Now, it's different. I am falling for my best friend that has fallen for a guy that could never treat her as well as I could.

I clench my jaw and tense as I think of Calum. The way he glared at me as I put my hand on Sky's thigh has made me crazy. He shook his head at me like Skylar was his already. Well, that's not the case, lover boy. Skylar is mine, she will be, and I will never let her slip away once I have her.

I calm myself and focus on Sky's careful hands running through my hair. I flutter my eyes, but close them again. I inhale deeply and exhale slowly. With my slow breathing, and Sky's comforting touch, I am asleep within minutes.

Hiii I'm sorry if this was short I guess it was a filler chapter since I have major writers block with this story >.<
