"Stop following me." Matt told the dumbass following him while jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
"What? I can't hear you." Spider-Man responded.
"Who the hell are you, kid? An avenger?" Matt asked.
"An avenger? Dude, I'm wearing a sweat suit. Well, it's a work in progress. Been thinking about designing spandex with webbings and stuff." Spider-Man responded.
"What about you? What's up with that blindfold? Seeing is too much for you now?" Spider-Man asked.
"Sight is overrated. Go home, kid. It's past your bedtime." Matt responded.
"Kid? You look like you're in your twenties, you're barely older than me." Spider-Man said.
The two vigilantes kept racing above the rooftops late at night. Moments later, they stopped.
"What was your name again?" Matt asked.
"Spider-Man" Spider-Man responded.
"Spider-Man, you think this is just a fun hobby? People get hurt when vigilantes like us aren't around. I'm not doing this to make friends, I'm doing this cuz I have to." Matt said.
"I didn't ask for this, either. I'm just keeping a promise I made to my unc... to a person I looked up to. Since I'm new to this hero thing, I thought I need to make some friends. I already met a guy, but he was weird. He was talking to the moon or something. I don't know what his deal was. Anyway, see you later. Also, you might wanna change that devil of Hell's Kitchen name. Maybe something shorter, like devil boy or something." Spider-Man said.
Matt watched Spider-Man swing away swiftly.
"This kid... I can hear his heart pounding so fast, it's like a weird force. He really might be the best of us. *Sigh* I'm not naming myself devil boy." Matt thought. "The sun is rising soon. I gotta go back to the apartment and get some rest." Matt said to himself while looking at the distance.
