"No, Straw Hat man! You don't need to help me!" Old Man Hyo, a name I only recently discovered due to my talking with the inmates, yelled.

"It's nothing!" Luffy brushed off, picking up the large mining tool only meant for groups to use. He swung it down, breaking the stone in front of him. The old man thanked him, but Luffy responded with, "I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for myself.  I'm gonna become stronger and get out of here at any cost!"

Hyo gained inspiration from this and tried to break the stones on his own, but he fell backwards from the weight of his pickaxe before he could do anything. Luffy ran over and gave him some meal tickets, which Hyo graciously took, thanking Luffy multiple times before running off to get some food.

"You giving out food is one thing I thought I'd never see," I half joked, walking up behind the teen(yea he is still 19 I had to look it up).

"I give people food when they need it!" he defended.

I laughed a bit, but that was interrupted by someone spitting at our feet. We dodged it, turning to look at where it came from. It turned out to be an alpaca man. The way he was shaped deeply disturbed me. And why is he dressed like a dominatrix? Actually, I take that bad. Everyone working for Kaido is dressed like that.

"I need to ask you two something!" the man said as he reached us on his walk over. "As you may know, the prisoner Eustass Kid escaped! I bet you guys know something. Huhhh?" He spit at Luffy's face, which caused my captain to wipe it off.

I scrunched my nose and looked at the guard, "What is wrong with you? Keep your spit in your mouth."

"Are you messing with me?! Do I have to remind you what happens when prisoners mess with guards?!" the alpaca man sprayed at me. I jumped back to keep it from getting literally all over me.

"We get our limbs cut off, I know. All I'm asking you to do is speak like you're not disgusting," I grunted, muttering a quiet, "...even though you are," to my self.

"I just came here to ask if you guys had something to do with Kid's escape! I know you did! You guys were talking so often," he accused us.

Luffy butted in and said, "We didn't do anything! I didn't know he was gone!"

"Well, he'll be caught soon anyway," the guard sighed. When Luffy made a noise of confusion, the guy continued, "His escaped wasn't well planned. Foolishly, he still has the Sea Prism Stone cuffs on. So he'll get caught soon and face the consequences!"

At the end of his explanation, he ended up spitting all over Luffy again, who said it was nasty that he was spitting on us. This led to a little song and dance about what the offences of messing with a guard were before the alpaca man was thankfully cut off by a shout of distress.

The three of us looked at what was going on behind us. There was a crowd surrounding what seemed to be two people. Upon closer inspection, I take back that 'thankfully' from earlier. Hyo was getting stomped on by some six-legged scorpion man, and he was the source of the shouting. In the few seconds that we were watching the scene, I could see Hyo swallow the dango that were spilled on the ground in front of him, which infuriated the guard more for whatever reason. He picked Hyo up and started spouting some nonsense. At this point, it was clear that Luffy had enough of standing around. He started walking slowly into the inner circle of the crowd. The alpaca man left a few seconds ago so there was no one to bicker with him on his actions because I definitely was not going to attempt to stop him.

The scorpion man threatened to kill the old man in his grasp if he didn't expose the person giving him meal tickets. Hyo basically gave him a big ole 'fuck you' speech which he finished with: "I am Hyogoro the Flower! After so long, my heart is filled with joy and my stomach is full! This is the land of the samurai! There used to be... a bunch of men like him! You guys killed them all!"
