When Bennet woke up, there was nothing but darkness in the hallway, no light. He slowly got to his feet. "Where am I?" Bennet asked himself. He heard voices coming up the stairs. He knew the voices anywhere. It was his two daughters, Brittany and Abigail. Brittany was eight while Abigail was eleven.
The two young girls ran down the hallway. As the two girls ran past Bennet, he reached out his hand to grab Abigail but she just went right through his hand. Brittany and Abigail both stopped in front of the window. Abigail unlocked the window and slid it open. The two girls went out onto the roof. Bennet followed them out onto the roof. He looked up at the sky, he saw that it was a cloudless night sky with a full moon. He then looked at the left side of the house and he saw four pairs of glowing blood red eyes.
Bennet watched as the four werewolves jumped up onto the roof and all four of them let out low, steady growls. The two girls turned around and screamed. The only thing that was in between Brittany, Abigail, and the four werewolves was the window. Abigail took ahold of Brittany's hand and they slowly made their way to the window, as the four werewolves stared at them.
When the two girls were about ten inches away from the window, they ran for it. The four werewolves snarled and took off after the two girls. Abigail pushed Brittany in front of her then she turned around and she pulled the window closed. The two girls ran down the hallway just as the four werewolves burst through the window, the glass shattered and fell onto the hallway floor.
Young Bennet looked up from the book that he was reading, his white hightops on the coffee table, and listened for a moment then he went back to reading. Brittany ran in front of Abigail and Brittany looked back and she screamed. One of the werewolves launched itself at her. Brittany screamed again as she and the werewolf both tumbled down the stairs. Brittany was dead before her body hit the wall at the foot of the stairs.
This time, young Bennet stopped reading and he stood up. He has dark brown hair, dark green eyes, a red t-shirt underneath a Harley Davidson V-Rod motorcycle leather jacket, blue jeans, and white Nike high tops. He walked over to the door and he grabbed the double-barrel shotgun that he always kept next to the door. He popped the barrel open, reached into his jacket pocket, pulled out two shotgun shells, and he put the shells into the double-barrel shotgun.
Bennet walked over to the foot of the stairs then he screamed at what he saw. Laying against the wall at the foot of the stairs, her dead cold eyes staring up at the ceiling, was eight-year-old Brittany. The werewolf was bent over her body, her chest was ripped open, covered in blood. Abigail came running down the stairs, with the three werewolves chasing after her. She ran past the werewolf at the foot of the stairs, ran to Bennet, and hid behind him.
The werewolf looked up from Brittany's body and jumped in front of Bennet and Abigail. The other three werewolves joined the werewolf. The four werewolves looked at Bennet and Abigail with their blood red eyes. He had his double-barrel shotgun in front of him. The four werewolves slowly moved towards them. They let out barks then the lights started to flicker on and off. The lights went out and when they came back on, the werewolves were gone.
Bennet heard scratching sounds on the wall. He heard something run across the living room floor behind him. He spun around and took a few steps towards the living-room. Abigail reached a hand out and she said, "Dad-" when a werewolf took her out, knocking her to the side. Abigail screamed as she went down. Bennet spun back around, saw Abigail, and raised his double-barrel shotgun. Abigail was on the floor, dark red liquid oozing from her right arm, forming a pool of blood underneath her arm. Her entire shirt was ripped open and the werewolf was at her legs, trying to grab her leg with its mouth.
He aimed the shotgun at the werewolf and he pulled the trigger. There was a loud bang as the shotgun shell hit the werewolf and the creature tumbled to the side. He rushed over to his daughter's side. Bennet put two of his fingers on Abigail's neck and he checked for a pulse. There was a pulse so Bennet bent over, picked Abigail up, and he slung her over his shoulder. He looked at the other three werewolves and he walked over to the back door, and he grabbed the doorknob. He turned it, pulled the door open, and rushed out into the night with the three werewolves behind him. Lightning flashed and thunder roared then rain came down.
