Suddenly, Jenny's eyes snapped open and she sat straight up in her bed. She looked around the room, her eyes quickly adjusting to the darkness. She looked to her left at Brooke, Rosina, and Kristin. Kristin laid in the bed next to her, facing the door, fast asleep. Jenny quietly threw the covers off of her and placed her feet on the hardwood floor. She pushed herself off the bed, trying to move quietly, not wanting to wake up the others. Moving quietly through the darkness, she was bent over, her hands sweeping across the floor, looking for her shoes. Finally, she found them and she straightened up, holding both of her shoes in her right hand.

Moving as quietly as she could, Jenny made her way through the darkness, toward the door. She stepped out into the dark hall-way, her free hand reached out in front of her, searching for the wall. She went down the hall, and carefully made her way down the stairs. When she reached the main floor, she placed her shoes on the floor, and slipped her feet into her shoes. She bent over to tie her shoes, then she stood straight up.

Jenny made her way to the back-door, then she grabbed the doorknob, and twisted it. She pulled the door open and slipped out into the night. She pulled the back-door shut behind her and went down the porch steps. She walked across the back-yard and disappeared into the forest. The trees overhead blocked out the moonlight, leaving the trail in complete darkness. Jenny shivered and rubbed her arms as she felt a cold breeze shift through the night air.

Suddenly, she realized how quiet the entire forest was. No birds were chirping, no owls hooting, etc. She heard the sounds of branches snapping and leaves rustling on her right. Jenny quickly turned to her right, but she couldn't see anything. She turned back around and she started to walk faster, looking back over her shoulder every once in a while. Jenny stopped where she was, frozen with fear, as she heard a loud growl and a howl somewhere near her. She broke out into a sprint, not knowing where she was going.

She ran through the forest, her whole body filled with fear, her dark blonde hair flying through the air behind her. She could hear the booming sounds of heavy footsteps and branches snapping as the beast chased after her. She ran into a clearing in the forest, the moonlight finally lighting up her path. Halfway through the field, Jenny suddenly tripped over something and she fell onto the ground. She let out a silent gasp as she landed on the ground. She covered her mouth with her right hand as the beast quickly moved past the spot where she was laying.

She stayed where she was as she heard the werewolf disappear into the forest. When she knew that the beast was gone, she got up onto her feet. Jenny took off rushing back into the trees behind her, going back the way she came from. The beast could hear branches snapping and leaves rustling as Jenny vanished into the trees. The werewolf let out a growl, dashed back out into the clearing, and disappeared into the forest. Jenny ran through the forest once again, running as fast as she could. She soon realized that she had to hide somewhere and fast.

Quickly moving off the trail, she hid behind a large tree, pressing her back against the trunk of the tree. Jenny closed her eyes and tried to slow her breathing down. She covered her mouth with her left hand as she heard branches snapping and leaves rustling underneath the werewolf's weight as the beast stood up on its hind legs. The beast sniffed the cool night air, then it let out a deep growl, and rushed off deeper into the forest, running on all fours. Jenny lowered her left hand back down to her side, and she let out a long breath that she was holding. She stood there, her back against the trunk of the tree, as she waited for her heartbeat to return to normal. She heard a deep growl on her right, so she slowly turned to her right then she saw it.

A pair of glowing red eyes were staring at her, hidden within the shadows of a bush. She finally saw the beast as it stepped out of the shadows and into the moonlight. The werewolf's sharp claws dug deep into the ground, as the beast snarled at her, revealing its sharp fangs. Jenny started to back away from the beast, but before she could take one step, a hairy paw grabbed her by the left ankle. She landed on the ground, stomach first, with a "thump". She groaned as she felt the pain spreading through her entire body. Jenny looked at the werewolf that stood in front of her, then she heard another deep growl behind her. Before she could do anything, she felt herself being dragged across the forest floor.

Jenny let out a scream as she was being dragged across the ground. Her scream echoed through the forest, ripping through the silence. The second werewolf growled and dashed forward, joining the first beast. She scratched at the forest floor, trying to find something to grab onto. She grabbed ahold of a tree root sticking out of the ground with both of her hands. One of the werewolves dug its right claws deep into her left leg, and she let out a scream of pain. She searched for anything that she could use to defend herself with, then she found something.

A large branch laid on the ground a few inches away from her on her right. Jenny reached out to grab the branch with her right hand, while her other hand was still tightly wrapped around the tree root. The first werewolf pulled on her ankle harder, the sharp claws dug into the skin of her left leg. Jenny grabbed ahold of the branch and tightly held it in her right hand. Twisting her body around so she was on her back, she let go of the root with her left hand. She gripped the large branch tightly in both of her hands as the beast dragged her deeper into the depths of the forest.

With a strong swing from both of her arms, Jenny hit one of the werewolves in the side of the head. The beast let out a yelp as it fell back onto the ground, retracting its claws from within Jenny's left leg. She kicked the other beast away from her, then she quickly got back up onto her feet. She quickly rushed back onto the trail, and she ran back to the house. The two werewolves got onto their feet, let out low growls, and continued to chase after her once again.

Jenny ran along the trail as fast as she could, the deep cuts on her left leg stinging. Soon, the house came into view as the forest ended and the back-yard began. She rushed out of the trees and into the back-yard, the two werewolves were just a few feet behind her. "Somebody, help me!! Please, help me!!" Jenny screamed as loud as she could, as she got closer and closer to the house. She ran up the porch steps and quickly rushed over to the back-door. She grabbed the doorknob, twisted it, and she tried to push the door open.

The door wouldn't open, so she let go of the doorknob, and she spun around. Jenny's eyes scanned the back-yard, and she didn't see the werewolves anywhere. She went down the porch steps and onto the grass. She looked around the empty yard, her eyes scanning for any movement. All of a sudden, Jenny heard deep growls, then one of the werewolves launched itself at her, knocking her onto the ground. She fell on her back, hitting the back of her head hard on the grass. The beast had its right paw on her chest, the sharp claws just touching the fabric of her shirt. The werewolf stared down at Jenny with its glowing blood red eyes. With the moonlight shining down onto the entire back-yard, Jenny saw that the werewolf's sharp teeth were just inches away from her face.

She felt the beast dig its sharp fangs into the fabric of her shirt, tugging and pulling her back into the forest. The other beast quickly joined the first werewolf. The second werewolf dug its teeth into the fabric of her shirt, just above her waist. Jenny claws at the ground on either side of her, trying to get a grip with her fingernails. But the blades of grass kept slipping through her fingers.

"John! Chase! Somebody, help me!" she yelled out into the night, as she was being pulled across the yard on her back. The two werewolves were pulling her closer and closer to the edge of the forest. Jenny looked off into the trees, and she saw huge dark shadows moving within the rays of moonlight. The werewolves vanished into the darkness of the forest, and the bottom half of Jenny's body vanished into the forest after them. "Please, no! No! Noooooo....." Jenny screamed out into the darkness of the night, as the rest of her body was dragged into the forest. Her scream echoed through the silence of the night, as she was dragged deeper and deeper into the depths of the forest. Off in the distance, somewhere deep in the forest, a werewolf tossed its head back, then the beast let out a long and loud howl. The sound of the beast's howl drowned out the sound of Jenny's final scream.
