A week later, Yeji and Yuna visited Ryujin. After some talk at the dinner, Nayeon and Jeongyeon let them visit anytime to check on Ryujin or just for a casual friendly visit.

"so you're saying my daughter killed someone?" Nayeon have a chat with Yuna in the living room. Since Ryujin didn't like to talk so much, Nayeon finally felt like really talking to someone other than Jeongyeon.

"I'm not saying that, ma'am. But according to Yeji, she might be involved." Yuna shrugged, she herself are getting comfortable easily with Nayeon. She lives with her father so she missed having a mother.

"it must be accidents. Ryujin will never do that. She doesn't have time, anyway." Nayeon referring to all the times she spent on the company.

"okay, then. You love her too much to believe that." Yuna said half-jokingly. "where are they anyway?"

Ryujin and Yeji are in Ryujin's study room. Ryujin showed Yeji her book collections so now, Yeji is reading one of it.

"I reduced my meds." Yeji suddenly said. "I have a headache when I drink it too much."

"so you think about it?" Ryujin smirked. She then stood up from her desk and walked to Yeji. Leaned down and held Yeji's chin up. "good choice, doc."

Yeji held her breath. Their face is a few centimeters close and Yeji's mind went blank. Ryujin looked at her lips then her eyes.

"are you expecting something?" Ryujin smirked and roughly pushed her face away. "you're easy to lure, doc. Your friend is downstairs, letting you here with me." Ryujin walked back and forth in front of Yeji. "don't you feel a little scared? I took someone's life here. I could take yours too."

"I'm not scared of you, Ryu." Yeji stood up. Walked closer to her. "I'm interested. In you." Yeji moved slowly to take off Ryujin's glasses. "now that we're alone. I can study you more."

"there she is. A pretentious little girl, held captive by her dear mother." Ryujin smirked. Yeji's eyes changed. She walked towards Ryujin until she hit her desk. Ryujin cleared her throat.

"I did everything you asked. Even refusing my mom's order. You tire me out, you know that?" Yeji put her finger on Ryujin's chest. "I fucking hate you so much but you pull me in so easily with that liar mouth of yours. Everything that came out from there is bullshit."

"go on. Let it out. Bet your mom always screams back at you when you're acting like this."

"don't you dare bring my mom on this!" Yeji exploded. She slapped Ryujin hard enough to make a cut on her lips.

Ryujin pushed her back on the couch and pinned her with her forearm on Yeji's neck. "you're just like me, doc. I told you that. Look what I made you do. You're free, now." Ryujin smirked. Noticed her glasses on the couch, she wears it again.

"you're a killer." Yeji said, eyes filled with tears. Sobs were heard by Ryujin.

"calm down, now. I will never let you out of my sight. I want you to be mine, Yeji. You're the only one that understands me." Ryujin caressed her cheek softly. With eyes on each other, Yeji went weak. "you hear me? You're mine."

"no. I can't. I don't want to disappoint my mom." Yeji continued to cry.

Ryujin went to her desk. Took a pair of gloves. Pushed one button that opened her blackboard. Yeji froze at the sight. Ryujin moved quickly and aggressively.

"I won't hesitate to take your life, Yeji. If I heard one more 'no' from that pretty mouth, this bullet..." Ryujin held one with her thumb and index finger. "will go here." Ryujin put it in front of Yeji's forehead.

"go on then. I know you won't be that reckless. You should work cleanly, prepared, and..." Yeji pushed her hand down slowly. "make sure your victims didn't know."

"correct." Ryujin wore her glasses and smiled. "see? You understand me. Don't worry about your mom. She only cares about your illness." Ryujin put her gun back on the rack.

"are those your victims?" Yeji walked towards the wall. "those really looks like accidents."

"thank you." Ryujin pulled the blackboard down but then stopped by Yeji.

"I'd like to see a little longer." Yeji looked up at the taller girl.

"suit yourself." Ryujin then pushed it back up. She walked away and sat on her desk, watching Yeji from afar.

"how come you always get away with these?" Yeji turned around. Walked to the couch. "your mom even think you're a good girl."

"self-control." Ryujin replied. "this is nothing. I have more to come."

"you have everything already. What are you looking for?" Yeji got confused. "your parents loves you. Everyone adores you. you're rich, a CEO. It doesn't make sense."

"that's the thing. That's not me. I'm not good, doc. I'm ill." Ryujin smiled a little.

WOOF WOOF

Ryujin heard her dog outside. She opened the door and let him in.

"you raised a dog?" Yeji watched the two plays. She then walked over to them but got barks from Hawk.

"she doesn't like new people." Ryujin looked up at her. She then let Hawk smells her hand. "friend."

"I wonder what tricks he's able to do."

And so, Ryujin brought them to the park. After letting Hawk did his business, they sat on the bench.

"you forget about me." Siyeon pouted beside Ryujin.

"I'm not. Just let me be with her for a sec." Ryujin replied.

"you won't kill her?"

"of course not! Now go. You can come out anytime."

"you're talking to her? Siyeon?" Yeji asked.

"look." Ryujin ignored her question and pointed to a small bird not far from them. "you wanna know what tricks he got?" Ryujin unleashed Hawk. "tsk... hunt."

Yeji then watched him ran towards the bird and ate it brutally. She flinched at the view. He then ran back to Ryujin, sat down with wiggled tail. Ryujin gave him a treat.

"poor dog. You trained him to be a killer."

"look at him. He's happy. He's a good dog." Ryujin patted his head. "good job, Hawk."

"hawk? As in Edward Hawk?"

"yes. I like him." Ryujin then looked at Yeji. "I didn't know you're so interested in me. I'm impressed."

Yeji cleared her throat. It's been a while since she received a compliment. She knew she shouldn't be too happy about it but she did. She's nervous.

"I have to. You're something I have to work on." Yeji dodged her feelings. "if I'm able to figure you out, it will be one of my biggest achievement."

"I'm an assignment to you?" Ryujin raised an eyebrow. "you really need some affirmations don't you?"

"it's not that."

"don't worry. I know what you need, doc." Ryujin fixed her glasses, looked at Yeji. Hand on her cheek. "I'm proud of you."
