Yeji didn't feel like going to work today. After what happened last week, Yeji really thought about it. Her feelings, the excitement, the thrill of being killed by Ryujin. Those are new to her. Whether it's because her cluster B disorders kicking in or just she purely like the girl.

"you should take your meds, Yeji." Yuna sighed. She's been refusing to take her meds and it doesn't really help the girl.

"I've never, in my life, feeling these things towards someone, Yu." Yeji hugged her pillow, sleeping sideways. "I think I like her."

"you're not. She's manipulating you." Yuna shoved a glass of water and a few pills in front of Yeji.

"what if she really likes me too? She gave me compliments and stuff. Even my mom only cares about my grades, careers, and my fucking illness!" Yeji threw the pillow across the room, breaking a vase on the vanity.

"take this. We'll go for a walk." Yuna always take her somewhere to ease Yeji's mind. That's the least she can do to help her.

Ryujin spends her days after graduation on the company. Jeongyeon checks on her overtime while he also taking care of his other branch across the states.

"Chaeryeong." Ryujin called her assistant. "let's have a deal with this company. I know dad didn't like them but you know what they said. Make your enemies your friend."

"yes miss." Chaeryeong nodded and took care of everything for her.

"I don't think that dad will approve so don't tell him." Ryujin fixed her glasses. "I already trust you with a lot of things. If they didn't want it, it's on you."

"Mr. Yoo haven't been able to make a deal with them for years, miss. I can't promise anything." Chaeryeong nervously said.

"I know, chaery. That's why I need your help. You can make every company joined us. You're here for a reason, don't you think?" Ryujin walked towards Chaeryeong's desk, hands on her shoulders.

"yes, miss. I will try." Chaeryeong shivered. She's actually scared of Ryujin and wants Jeongyeon to be back and work here forever.

Ryujin then back again at reading her book. It's about management and strategy for running a company. She's not too interested of course, but she has to. The fame, the money, the prestige she will get. Those things drive her.

"I will inform you for further negotiations with the company." Chaeryeong walked towards Ryujin and put the files on the desk.

Ryujin ignored her. Focused on the book. Fixed her glasses. She then heard the door opened. Looked up, saw an elegant woman. Branded purse, expensive sunglasses, black heels. Ryujin put her book down.

"Mrs. Choi." Ryujin smiled. "have a seat."

Mrs. Choi sat on the couch. The last time she saw this office, it was less organized and clean. She's impressed.

"you like the new office?" Ryujin walked towards the private bar. "I just sent you the cooperation offer."

"I'd like to talk directly to the CEO for that. I need to make sure I make a great deal with my shareholders." She took off her glasses and looked around the room.

"shareholders?" Ryujin fixed her glasses. "I want us to work together. Besides..." she walked towards her and sat in front of her. Put the two glasses on the table. "I see your company really need some help with materials for your products."

Mrs. Choi folded her legs and arms. she knows that Ryujin's right. She started to ran out of materials for her commercial defense system products.

"with my company climbing on top of the chart, you need to provide protections for people. Even your own family, perhaps, if you have one." Ryujin fixed her glasses. "you know why my dad never agrees to have a deal with you? You used to chase him but he chose my mom, right? You know he wants to have a weapon business so you made something against him. Smart." Ryujin clasped her hands together. "More people need protections, while I provide them with endless choice of weapons. Not to mention some new ones we're working on. Imagine the world without good and evil."

"you're nonsense. We do need some materials and by far yours has the best quality. A great price too. I'm tempted." Mrs. Choi took a sip of the alcoholic drink. "I can see some great improvement after you take the position as the CEO. You're quite famous."

"I know that. I didn't think that you'll come to me personally. So what's the deal?" Ryujin fixed her glasses, smiling at her. "the more you wait, the more you lose. Your defense mechanisms are getting old, Lia. You need advice?" she smirked.

"Lia?" she looked up. "this is a professional business. Please keep it that way."

"oh. I just want to make us closer. Don't you want that?"

"no need. Don't make me regret coming here. I'm here for a deal. Don't flirt with me."

"flirt? I never flirt with my business partners, Mrs. Choi. Don't flatter yourself." Ryujin leaned back. "if you came here, you have to come out with a deal. I won't let you leave." She then went back to her desk, continued her read.

"fine." Lia pulled out a file after contemplating with her decision. She realized that this is probably one of the most impulsive deals she ever made. "here." Lia put her file on the desk.

Ryujin looked up and called Chaeryeong. After reading the contract, Lia furrowed her eyebrows.

"Chae, give her the B template." Ryujin commanded. "we're gonna gave a big deal. If you survived, you will have more than you have right now." she said to Lia.

"this isn't right. 50% profit will be yours including shipping fee?"

"read it again. Look what I provided you with. You think you can get good stuff with cheap prices? This isn't black market. Which I assume you got most of your stuff from there, but hey, it's a great deal." Ryujin fixed her glasses and smiled. "I know you can handle this. Make a great product out of my source and you'll be great."

-

"you what?" Jeongyeon put down his utensils and wiped his mouth. "that's dangerous! You will lose so much if it didn't work."

"she came to the company herself. I can't lose the chance." Ryujin casually enjoy her dinner. "besides, I don't have any emotional connection with her. If she failed, that's on her. I still get the profit from it."

Jeongyeon sighed. Nayeon put her hand on his back to calm him down.

"alright then." Jeongyeon pursed his lips. "I trust you, dear. But, please, don't make this kind of deal with anyone again. I taught you about high-risk high return but this is too much risk."

"I know, dad. You can count on me. Have you seen our incomes lately?" Ryujin raised her eyebrow. "I do better than you, don't you think?"

"well, I'm not surprised. I think I'm just a little shocked. So, if she can't pay, it's a dept?" Jeongyeon calmed down a little.

"basically, yeah. She could've refused but I can see that she needs us. We don't need them, though." Ryujin giggled. "I can't believe she's that impulsive."

"isn't that too mean?"

"that's business, dad. You always chickened out when it comes to great deals like this."

"ah... is that so?" Jeongyeon felt small. He's supposed to be a role model for her but it seems like she didn't need him anymore. "I'm proud of you, dear."
