Yeji looked at the mirror, the due date is here. She took a deep breath and smiled at herself.

"You look beautiful." Dahyun said looking at her daughter from behind.

"thank you." Yeji smiled at her. "I didn't think I will be here today."

"you should be happy. This is a big day. I'm proud of you."

Everyone gathered on the chapel. Excitements and joy filled the building as the bridesmaids lined up in front of the altar.

Finally, the times that everyone's been waiting for arrived. Yeji came in with one of her uncles, walking down the aisle. She then stood in front of Eunwoo.

With that, the ceremony started.

-

Meanwhile, Ryujin watched all of it from her sniper's scope. She gulped. She adjusted her scope to look around the building through the windows, getting a better view to look at Yeji.

A group of armed people with masks barged into the chapel. Shooting up the ceiling. People started panicking but the main door was closed by one of them. A mass shooting started. They basically shoot anyone they want.

Ryujin kept her eyes on Yeji. not being able to watch longer, she lowered her head. Once she looked back at the scope, she saw Yeji on the floor, beside her was Eunwoo. He's crying.

"shit." Ryujin quickly got out of the building, ran down, and went in to chapel.

Ryujin ran straight to Yeji, pushing Eunwoo away from her. she picked Yeji up to her embrace.

"I'm sorry. I'm late. Stay with me." Ryujin put her down slowly.

Ryujin brought her gun, of course. She pull it out, making everyone even more panic. With swift movements, she aimed at the 'robbers', leaving one person. They managed to shot her in the shoulder. That didn't bother Ryujin as the adrenaline rushed through her body. She guessed that they're the leader.

"I fucking told you, not to hurt the bride." Ryujin whispered in their ear.

BANG. Ryujin got the last man down. She looked down on him for a sec then went back to Yeji. Ryujin threw her gun away.

"hey. I'm here." Ryujin saw a bullet hole on the side of Yeji's abdomen. "please, stay with me." Ryujin brought her to lay in her arm.

"you came." Yeji smiled. "thank you." Yeji coughed a few times. "I missed you. I'm sorry I haven't been able to say this to you. I still love you, Ryujin. Don't leave me."

"what?" Eunwoo heard all of it. "what did you say?"

The time stops for Ryujin and Yeji. for them, the world is theirs. No one can interfere.

"you can't marry him, Yeji. I'm begging you. Stay with me. Let's run away together, yea? You and me." Ryujin caressed her cheeks. She leaned down and with no hesitation, gave her a kiss.

BANG

Ryujin flinched. A sharp pain entering her back. A poor aim, she thought. Ryujin just smiled at Yeji's shocked face.

"it's... okay... I'll be... fine. You need to stay alive, doc." Ryujin closed her eyes and plopped beside Yeji.

-

Yeji woke up to the sound of something beeping beside her.

"finally." Dahyun gave her a tight hug. "I'm so scared, dear. I thought you're going to die."

"Ryujin." Yeji let a tear fall on her cheek. She weakly said.

"you should be worried about me." Eunwoo said with an angry face. "did you even care about me at all?" his voice softened.

Yeji avoided any eye contact.

"she still needs some time, son. I hope you understand." Dahyun said to him, not wanting to put any pressure to her daughter. Eunwoo just sighed and leave.

On the other hand, Ryujin got in the same hospital as Yeji. with a little help from a doctor and a few nurses, she went to a little surgery to take out the bullets and close her wounds.

"we did some stiches to the old wounds as well." The doctor said. "it's fascinating to see you being this calm despite not using any anesthesia."

"thank you." Ryujin replied. She put on her clothes carefully, a nurse helped her a bit. She then saw Taehyung entering the room.

"I just saw him and he didn't look pleased. You pissed him off." Taehyung scratched his head.

"let him be. If my wife kissed another man I would shoot them too." Ryujin stood up, stretching her body slowly.

"he shot you? Two times?" Taehyung followed her outside.

"only once. This one's from one of them." Ryujin pointed at her shoulder. Ryujin then stopped her step when she saw Eunwoo in front of her.

"stay away from her. this is all because of you." Eunwoo tried to be as calm as possible.

"you heard her. she missed me. You can't control what she felt, Eunwoo. You think I'm not trying to avoid her just so you can have your happy life with her?" Ryujin stepped forward. "I really think you'll be a bad husband for her. no offends. I've been seeing her alone, walking on the street like a stray cat. Where were you? If I were you, I will never leave her, Eunwoo. What an irresponsible act." Ryujin scoffed.

"you have no right to intervene with our life. I don't need your advice."

"of course. So you still need to pay me. A good man will never renege on his deal, right?" Ryujin patted his shoulder then walked past him.

-

Yeji couldn't stop crying on the hospital bed. She made mistake by letting her mother tricking her to marry Eunwoo.

"hey. Yeji. I'm so sorry." Yuna came into the room. "I'm sorry I didn't check on you. I'm sorry for everything." Yuna sobbed.

"it's fine now, Yu. I missed you." Yeji said. "I'm stupid. I didn't listen to you."

"no, you're not. You chose the right thing. Someone just ruined it." Yuna sat beside her. "I heard robbers came to your wedding."

"yeah." Yeji looked down. "at that time, I realized something. Even in the moment of dying, I still think about her." she paused, cleared her throat. "I kissed her. in front of my mom, Eunwoo, and the guests. I finally followed my heart."

"I won't judge you. If that's what you want, then go for it."

"one more thing. I saw him shot Ryujin. I really wanna see her right now. I don't love him, Yuna. I love Ryujin." Yeji took Yuna's hands as if Yuna can grant her wish.

"I don't even know where she is, Yeji. when you got out, let's meet her." Yuna caressed her head.

Someone then came in to the room startling both girls.

"how are you doing... doc?"
