George's P.O.V.

When Paul asked us all to go out to see LA before coming back to London to finish the album, I had to. I think we all came together as the group of friends we have always been and sucked up all of our pride, egos, and just our problems.

For Lauren.

We originally met my wife together as a group when both Paul and John had different women in their lives.

I knew I began to push her away instead of showing her the stand up guy that I always have been for her. I shouldn't have told her she should stay out here when that wasn't not I wanted.

When I stepped foot into that fashion studio on her big day out here in Los Angeles and saw the look of happiness on her face I knew I could mend things with her.

When everyone except for Linda and I left I saw an expression of sadness re-emerge on her face, especially after her quick conversation with Glyn at the door.

"Lo," I said softly, "can we talk privately?"

"We will," she replied, "but I'm a little emotional right now and I don't want to ruin my makeup."

With that they did a quick touch up and she put on something she designed and started posing in front of the camera as Linda, Ollie and I watched.

As we stood there an unfamiliar face came and stood next to Linda and I and also just watched.

"Do you work here?" I asked this young woman after she stood there for a while saying nothing.

"Sorry, I'm actually internally freaking out that George Harrison and Linda Eastman are standing a feet away from me," she said without turning in our direction.

We both laughed.

"Are you a fan, then?" I asked her.

"Yes. No, I mean..." she turned to look at me and then looked away, "Lauren invited me here to watch the shoot... but yes I am a fan."

"Well come, join us..." Linda said to her, "I recognize you from Capitol Records right?"

"Yeah, Lauren was there and we talked about our love of fashion and how I've been a fan of her work and she wanted me to get a glimpse of life in her shoes."

Wow. My wife truly was a good person, she did the exact same thing for Linda once upon a time.

Suddenly Lauren ran over.

"Hey there," she said, "I'm so glad you could make it. Have you been introduced?"

"I'm George Harrison," I said knowing she already knew my name, "This is Linda McCartney."

"Not yet," she corrected me.

"This is Annie, I had the pleasure of meeting her and hope to show her that fashion is more important than music," she looked at me as though she was telling me that was the case.

I held In my frustration. I deserved that.

Linda and Annie went closer to the photographer and helped Lauren into her next outfit and I took Ollie around the corner away from all the noise. I just sat there and hummed a tune to him.

Some time had passed and then Annie came in to where I was.

"I am so sorry to intrude," she said softly, "I just thought I could watch Ollie while you go back out there."

"Why are you so concerned?" I asked her.

"I'm a really big fan of yours," she said looking excited and slightly unprofessional, "it's crazy that I'm right here speaking to you."
