Lauren's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning and went straight to my son. I picked him up and swayed him back and forth.

"You are the best thing to ever happen to me," I said softly to my little Oliver.

I will forever be his mother no matter what happens in this life.

I then walked us both down to the kitchen and started getting things together to make some breakfast for everyone. Ollie sat in his little chair at the counter and watched me cook and one by one the others started waking up and joining us.

"Did you sleep well?" Paul asked me with a smirk on his face.

"Yes, once I got off that uncomfortable couch and into a bed," I rolled my eyes at him.

"And Glyn?" Mal asked next.

"I don't know, I woke up and he was gone," I lied.

"See I told you," Linda finally said as if they were all placing bets as to whether I would cheat on my husband last night.

"Enough with the nonsense," I pleaded with them all and they finally understood my frustration and stopped the questions as we ate.

When we were finished, Mal took Linda to work and Paul got on the phone with one of the Beatles press officers and came back to me with the bad news.

"Good news or bad news first?" Paul asked me as we sat on the couches we were on last night. I suddenly in my heart wished that Glyn was here for moral support as I heard the news Paul was about to unleash on me.

"Bad news first," I clenched my teeth and braced for impact.

"They ran the story this morning back in England and it's about to hit America as well. Luckily no one knows where we are right now or the press would be hounding us."

"And the story?" I asked him, unsure of what they are exactly saying.

"That George had a fling in India and that you are getting a divorce."

"It's ridiculous," I stood up shaking my head, "this is all my fault... I should have went with him to India."

"You're really going to blame yourself? He shouldn't have let her anywhere near him and what are the chances they were there at the same time?" He said sounding annoyed at the whole situation.

"I have faith in him," I said and then remembered there was good news, although I had no clue what that could be when we had a nightmare of a press situation on our hands that nothing really can fix.

We sat in silence for a moment as I thought he would just come out with it until finally I asked him, "Paul, what is the good news?"

"Oh, I honesty forgot," he stood up to meet my gaze, "George is on the phone and wants to speak with you."

"What? Why didn't you tell me that first?" I asked running to grab the telephone in the kitchen.

"You said bad news first!" he called out to me. He wasn't being funny he was being an ass on purpose to mess with George.

I didn't care about any of that, I needed to speak to him. I picked up the phone and took a deep breath.

"George Harrison?" I asked into the phone.

"Oh thank god," he responded, "I thought you wouldn't want to speak to me."

"I don't even need an explanation," I shook my head at the thought, "Whatever happened it's fine. We just need to put out a statement that we are happily married and it was a misunderstanding."
