"Luz?.."
Luz knew that voice from anywhere. The soft tender Feminine tone. The way her name was said.
Luz dropped her duffle bag in disbelief. It couldn't bee. Hexside was on the entire other side of Glandice. How could she?...no it must've been a figment of her imagination... probably because of her concussion.
She turned the lights on...it disappeared...the shadow she saw disappeared.
She closed her eyes with a sigh of relief but disappointment. What did she expect? Amity to be in her-
"Luz"
A Saturn tone made Luz jump back startled and fall over her duffle bag and crawl backwards.
Again. No one their. Luz felt like she was going crazy. Luz teared up and stood up annoyed. She tossed her bag on her bed and closed her door
She kept hearing her voice. Then she woke up in the middle of the night.
She saw the shadow again..Luz simply spoke
"Shut up..." Her tone was cold and she didn't hear her name again.
She laid back done and heard her name again. She sighed. She must've been going crazy
She then heard a knock on her door and sighed. She opened it to Amity. But she didn't believe it. She was tired. And exhausted.so she spoke
"If your here to annoy me or tell at me again just make it quick.." she looked so tired and worn out.
So this Amity spoke
"Well let's take it into your dorm first.." her tone was soft and Luz still didn't believe it
Luz went and sat on her bed looking at Amity. Amity expected a different reaction to Luz seeing her this late and whatnot but it didn't matter.
"Listen...I heard something about a deal...and if you explain this deal then I forgive you.."
Luz rolled her eyes knowing this was fake and shrugged
"Your parents. Threatened to ruin everything if I didn't move and over night already had my stuff moved to Glandice and whatnot. And in the nursing room or whatever your parents threatened to ruin my newly made. Reputation in Glandice if we kept in touch or something. That simple" Luz said and then saw the horror and shock in Amity's face
Luz froze. No way. All of this was fake!
Luz imideatly stood up grabbing Amity's shoulders sternly speaking
"Amity what are you doing here- I just-" Luz grabbed her head pacing around. That was the reaction Amity was waiting for
"Amity if your parents knew you were here....oh I'm dead" Luz said hopelessly.
Amity couldn't form words...so her parents were the cause of this?...what did Amity expect...
Luz started hyperventilating "Amity you have to go you have to forget everything I said please" she begged as Amity looked at her with soft eyes.
Luz truly was gonna miss them. But she felt Amity's cup her face and pull it close. Luz couldn't kiss her but they didn't kiss. Amity pressed their foreheads together softly as tears rolled down both of their faces.
"I'll come for you I promise.." Amity whispered and Luz closed her eyes leaning into the touch they both desired.
It took so much for Amity to let go. But she did...and then the sun came up.
