Yumi lied to me. I didn't have to present it to the board. She pretty much took the reign on the presentation but did inform the board, sang praises actually, of me taking the lead in making the pastries and how she believes in the team's talent should the board decide to expand. It sounded like a job offer is at hand. I was ecstatic.
"I love you and I hate you!" I hooked my arms with here when we finished our stint going back to the kitchen.
"I wouldn't do that to you. I was just playing with you. It's fun to see you lose it."
"You're evil!" I laughed and relieved at the turn of events. "What do you think, are they going to expand?"
"If they have any good sense, which I believe they do, they will."
"So that means we get to stay as permanent employees?" Hyejin earnestly waiting for a yes.
"I sure hope so. Anyway, let's go and clean up and prepare for the next day."
"Kaja!"

"..I'll make love to you..like you want me to.."
My phone rang and let it ring a little more. I love this classic song! I hardly hear it except when someone rings me. I need to put a reminder to add this to my playlist.
"Hyejin-ah!"
"Saab-ah!" I hate my name..
"What's up?"
"Junki and I are having dinner want to come? It's just 10mins walk from your apartment."
"Did he ask me to come or you're just inviting me?"
"Come on. I don't know what to do."
"He wants to have dinner with YOU not US." I always noticed that Junki has paid special attention to Hyejin but she just always ignores it as if it's not happening. I don't know why cause I know she likes him too.
I guess the thing with us manhwa enthusiasts (actually maybe it's just me and Hyejin) is that we love seeing our main characters live the life but the moment it happens to us, we get scared. I think that's the reason why at my age I haven't really dated anyone.
"Jebal...If you're in this position I'd do the same for you promise!"
"Fine!" I can hear her squeal. "But you need to tell him that I'm coming. I don't want to walk in there and see disappointment in his face. And I'll make myself scarce. Don't cling to me!"
"Call!"
So I got dressed up to 'chaperone' my friend's date. I didn't dress up as I would normally do when I go out but I won't come out the house looking like a slob. So I put on a black fitted tank top and white button up shirt over it that I left open. There's still a cool breeze at night in Summer so I'll just button it up if it gets cooler later in the night. I completed it with black wide leg trousers, pink leather slides and my pink sling bag for a pop of colour. I pulled my hair back in a slick low ponytail. Damn, I look like a model.
Except for my height. I'm not short compared to the average Korean women. I actually often stand out in the crowd of heads so I'm by all means considered taller than average but still short to be a model.
But another dead give away is my boobs. They're too big for a model. That's one of my insecurities although some people might argue that others even get surgery just to have what I have.
I love my boobs to be honest but it's the attention it gets that I hate that's why I always opted for outfits that will conceal it. Case in point my outfit tonight. I won't dare step out the house with just a fitted tank top on without anything over it. I won't dress frumpy just to hide my boobs but I won't go displaying it to the world. I admire those girls that have the guts and don't care (or maybe endure?) about the attention but it's not for me.
And I also hate that it's what people will describe me to someone who doesn't know me. Big boobs. That girl with big boobs. Not my big brown eyes that I am freaking proud of. Thanks mom although you named me Saab.

I rolled into the bar and see a very happy Hyejin to see me. I purposefully came a bit late to give them a little more time alone together so Junki won't hate me too much.
"Sorry I'm late. You know what they say, the closer you live, the later you arrive. Can't get the timing right."
"Gwenchana! We haven't ordered, what would you like?"
"Should we have soju and beer? I leave the anju to you since you guys are the expert."
Junki was happy with this cause this means he gets to talk to Hyejin more even if it's just over their choice of anju.
We were getting a bit tipsy now when I caught something at the corner of my eye a familiar face. He was at the board meeting earlier, but that wasn't the first time I saw him. I met him at a dinner I went to when I first came to visit and met my sister's boyfriend's friends.
What is he doing here?
