It felt so good to finally let someone know about Jin and I. At first I didn't feel right sharing our secret with Jimin (that's one of our rules) but having Jimin there, and even baring his heart out on me, I couldn't help myself. I know I broke that rule but we've broken so many of the rules already. I should tell Jin but the next couple of days have been hectic at work and at school. I'm guessing he is too as I haven't seen him around or heard from him.
"We can't move on with the project until Jin comes back." I heard Yumi and Junki speaking as I they come in the locker room. I was finishing up for the day and headed out to class.
"It's not Covid is it? Or else they would've asked people to isolate?"
My heart dropped "Is he sick?" I piped in trying to hide my worry.
"Yeah he's been away for 2 days now. But they said it's not Covid." Yumi answered me and added "Might be stress to be honest. He didn't look too good when he came in a few days ago."
"I need to go. I'll see you." I rushed out of there back to my apartment. He gave me his address and it's on my fridge. Didn't really bother to remember it as I had no intention on visiting him until now.
I rushed out and after a lifetime and a half I was at his door. I texted his assistant and made an excuse that I forgot the code and she gave it to me. On hindsight not a very smart move on her part but hey I'm glad for her oversight.
It was my first time in his apartment and it's massive. His living room is like my entire apartment. Made me appreciate him coming over my unit, crouching on the couch to sleep, or sitting on the floor as we ate at the coffee table. Never once did he make a comment about how small or cramped my unit was.
My next mission now is to find his bedroom. I went past the open plan kitchen and dining area and on the left side there's a hallway which tells me that's where his bedroom might be. I opened the first door on the right. Nope that's the powder room. To the left is the laundry and another door to the right is an office.
Right at the end of the hallway is a double door. This must be it. I knocked and counted to seven. No answer so I gently swung the door open and there he was in the middle of the bed, covered in blanket, eyes closed, frowning.
On his bedside is a glass of water next to a jug and some tablets. That's good he's taking meds. He had a patch over his head the ones kids get when they have a fever. What a big baby.
I quietly went on the side of the bed and gently stroked his hair. He stirred and groaned.
"Ssshhh. It's just me. Go back to sleep."
I started to clean up his bedside table and replaced the water jug with fresh water. I looked around in the kitchen and I can see some left over porridge in the stove pot. I was washing the dishes left in the sink when the door buzzed and an older lady walked in. We weren't expecting to see each other and didn't know what to say but I broke the silence.
"Good evening, I'm Saab. I'm Jin's.." what am I? Friend?
"Ahh.. yeah his secretary told me. You're the girlfriend. Why are you just visiting now! He's been sick for two days. Leave that with me and go next to him."
Ok so she's the cleaning lady. Jin mentioned that he has someone come over to clean and sometimes cook for him.
"It's ok I'm almost finished and he's still sleeping."
"No no. I won't have anything to do then." She insisted.
"Oh maybe you can teach me how to make that porridge or something else good for someone who is sick?"
"Call!" I found it funny how they have the same personality.
It was pretty easy and she said I got talent in cooking. No surprise there. She left me after helping me clean up in the kitchen. I asked her I'll stay with Jin for the next few days so he doesn't have to worry about him.
I checked on Jin who's been sleeping for about 4 hours now. He should be eating something now. I went in, porridge in hand and carefully placed it on the side table before rubbing his shoulders to wake him. He opened his bleary eyes trying to focus and make out who was in front of him.
"Saab-ah? When did you, how did you get here?" His voice was hoarse.
"Your assistant. Can you get up? I made you porridge. Have some."
He pushed himself up the bed and gave me a weak smile. I picked up the bowl and I spoon fed him. He hesitated at first but I gave him the poutiest face I can muster so he'll let me. He couldn't finish it saying his tummy feels funny. He took some meds to bring down his fever and went back to bed.
"Sorry I just came now." I whispered as I helped him lie back in bed and gave him a kiss on his temple.
The next day, his fever has gone down a bit but he's still weak. I made chicken noodle soup, a recipe I got from my mom. I fed him again and he went back to bed. I'd wake him every 4 hours to take some meds and feed him fruits. He keeps saying his tummy feels funny and sure enough later that night he puked. I had the bucket ready anticipating it, but was still too late when he finally did, getting some of it on the blanket and some on him. I had him rinse his mouth, take his shirt off and had him lay down on the couch in his bedroom while I changed the sheets. He was spent I can tell as he can barely open his eyes and dragged his feet as I guided him back to bed.
There was nothing sexy about puking but his bare chest begged to differ. The slow rise and fall of his chest lulling me, the defined lines on his torso and the wispy happy trail leading to the slight bump in his pyjama pants making me pool between my legs. It was shameful lusting over a sick man but I couldn't help it. I wrung out the warm water from the face towel hoping to wring out my lust too but as I put the towel on his neck, the opposite happened. I wanted to touch him with my hands and kiss him all over, to make him feel good. Next thing I knew my kisses were landing on his body where I just washed him as if it's a mandatory aftercare. Gently kissing his neck, him rewarding me with a moan, to his shoulders, trailing his collarbones moving on to the notch in between. I was careful not to nip, just soft kisses and as I went down his chest, I swirled my tongue on his nipples, earning a giggle from him.
"You like that?" I teased.
He just nodded with a cheeky smile. I can see he's still spent so I stopped and just laid my head on his chest, his hand now stroking my hair. I stayed there feeling his breathing until he fell asleep.
I put the sheets and his clothes in the washing machine so it won't stink but I got some in my clothes as well. I hopped in the shower to wash up and noticed he has the same shampoo as mine - Coconut Vanilla scent. I also just realised I don't have any more change of clothes. In my rush I only grabbed my overnight bag that for real was just packed with clothes for 1 night. I can't wear my bra again as the puke soaked through my clothes and I definitely won't be wearing my undies twice. I scoured Jin's closet and settled with a dark blue tshirt to mask my unclothed breasts and one of his black shorts. I'm sure he won't mind if I go commando in his shorts.
I hopped on the couch which has been my bed for the past 2 nights. I didn't realise how tired I was until I laid down. It felt good to take care of Jin though. He was the last thing on my mind as I went to dreamland.
