"Oh Spidermannnn!" Y/n called out in a singsong voice.

They were having a snowball fight, but they had the entire city to hide in. The only rule was that they couldn't hide in any buildings, but that was pretty obvious. The entire city to hunt one another down, it was amazing. Y/n almost wished that they had the entire team involved - it was just like the nerf gun wars they had whenever Cassie came over, just on a larger scale.

Footprints, snow angels, snowmen, and drawings in the snow littered the entire city. It was like a breadcrumb trail of all the fun they'd had. Pure childlike wonder. No responsibilities, no worries, no stress. Their laughter could be heard echoing throughout the snowed-in area. Infectious and sweet. It had been a great day.

Peter was currently hid in one of the many alleyways, unable to wipe the excited grin from his face. He'd created a 'home base' in the centre of the alleyway. It had snow-built walls covering every direction, and he had a giant mound of snowballs built up and ready to throw. Hell, the kid was even starting to build a slingshot from his webs so that he could toss as many snowballs as possible.

He could hear y/n, and it took all of his strength not to laugh or sing back to her. She was far too close for him to respond without getting caught. He just had to try and wait it out and pray that she walked in a different direction. Peter's eyes were wide with excitement as he stayed ducked behind one of the many snowy walls he'd created, making sure that his snowballs were in reaching distance.

Y/n continued to sneak down the alleyway, her back pressed up against one of the brick walls. Her boots crunched against the snow as she crept, trying her hardest to be as slow and quiet as possible. She had a snowball prepared in her palm, ready to throw it at any movement. However, just like Peter, she couldn't wipe the cheesy grin from her face.

There was a reason why they were being so serious about the snowball fight. The stakes were extremely high. If one of them surrendered, they'd have to only speak in song lyrics for the entirety of their next mission. And they were never allowed to explain themselves after the mission. It was stupidly funny, but both of them were determined to win so that they could watch the other struggle.

As y/n crept deeper and deeper down the alleyway, Peter's 'home base' started to come into sight. Her eyes widened at the sight, quickly ducking behind a dumpster to stop herself from getting caught. The snowball fight had already lasted three hours, there was no she was losing to one of his traps. So, y/n thought of a better idea.

She mimicked Loki's powers.

Clones of y/n popped up in every direction that let to Peter's home base, all acting completely oblivious. They glanced around carefully, yet their smiles never faded. Just like y/n. It was the perfect plan.

Peter gasped quietly as he noticed one of the clones. He prepared his slingshot with a snowball, trying his hardest not to laugh as he flung it right at her. "Ha! I've got you-"

His face dropped.

The snowball had gone straight through the clone. "No! Y/n! This is cheating!" He yelled out, glancing all around to try and spot the correct y/n, but it was practically impossible. He just had to keep throwing snowballs and praying. "This is cheating!" Peter repeated with a giddy laugh, his heart pounding with adrenaline. He was going to lose, but he wasn't going down without a fight.

The real y/n was still hidden behind the dumpster, trying her hardest not to laugh as she listened to Peter freak out and giggle. She prepared as many snowballs as she possibly could, piling them up nearby. "You never said we couldn't use powers!" Y/n called out, forcing the clones to do the same so that he couldn't track her voice.

Peter sighed, putting his head in his hands with a happy laugh. She was right. He was screwed. "This isn't fair!" He yelled, shaking with adrenaline and excitement. He hadn't been so carefree in a long, long time. Feeling so happy that he shook was something that he hadn't done since he was a kid, yet there he was.

"Oh, it is!" Y/n laughed, replacing one of the clones with herself as they all started to get closer and closer to the base. It felt like the build-up to a big drop on a rollercoaster. They both knew what was about to happen, they just didn't know when.

Peter couldn't stop laughing, bundling up in a ball as he started to get pelted with snowballs. He kicked his legs out in a desperate way to defend himself, almost like a younger sibling fighting their older sibling. His eyes were squeezed shut to protect them from the snow, hands balled up tightly and held closely to his chest. He had completely given up on throwing anything back at y/n.

Peter's laughter was more than infectious. It was the perfect sound to echo across the city. Pure joy.

"Okay, okay! I surrender!" He screamed, unable to breathe due to how much he was laughing.

Y/n stopped, a proud grin starting to appear on her face. She still had a snowball in her hand in case Peter was trying to trick her, but she doubted it. "What did you say..?" She asked, wanting confirmation before she celebrated.

"I surrender!" Peter exclaimed, opening one eye to look up at y/n. He couldn't help but laugh again at the sight of her prepared to throw another snowball, holding his hands up in defeat. "I surrender! I surrender!" The happy kid repeated, cheeks red from joy ad the snow. He knew what it meant to surrender, but he couldn't help it. His stomach hurt from laughing so much.

Y/n dropped the snowball with a proud laugh. Her phone buzzing just at the right time to tell her that dinner was almost ready at the compound. God, she was starving. It really did feel like two children playing out in the snow all day.

"See you on the next mission, Parker!"
