Short Headcanon's

Collection of headcanon's or rambles not long enough for their own chapter.

Ya know, I think that Danse recalls his memory in the third-person and he thinks his thoughts in words, like the phrases just appear in his find rather then letter by letter.

Piper and Nick definitely recalls their memories in first person and they think their thoughts in the form of pictures rather then words.

I headcanon that after BB, if any of the companions happen to hear a vertabird while around Danse they will hide him immediately. Even if he protests against it. Like it doesn't matter who they are or their relationship with Danse, they will either stuff that motherfucker into some crate(most likely Hancock or Deacon) or will drag him into somewhere that would allow a 7ft tall walkin metal hunk to hide.

Idk why but is feels hella wrong to flirt with MacCready. Like this man has a son and watches his own wife get ripped apart by Feral's, he should have a lot of mental trauma with that and this whole idea that you're able to flirt with him despite that all just don't sit well with me.

I love the companion dialogue when switching Piper out for Danse but I hate how dedicated Danse is to BoS that he has to refer to every human as a 'civilian' or 'citizen'. If Danse had just left it as "Only if it 'plays nice' back", ya know how badass that sounds. Like oh now ya don't wanna fuck with him, he'll mess you up good. But then ya add the 'citizen' and it loses all its badassness. Now it's cringy, sure it's cool if ya do it before BB but after BB it should just go to "only if it 'plays nice' back", no need to keep the 'citizen part in, just makes Danse continue to look like a BoS fanboy despite him being dead to them.

So when you go into the museum of witchcraft for the first time and you get to the point where you go to turn a corner and the arms suddenly appear from the ceiling, Danse tells you to 'stay close'. Well, I liked like to headcanon that he says them because he's scared shitless and wants you to be close so he can feel just a bit safer, I mean, after all, you did come barreling through a hoard of feral ghouls when ya two first met. If it were in his shoes then fuck yeah, I'd wants someone who took on a whole herd of ghouls by my side, deathclaw or not.

MacCready definitely radiates younger brother vibes. We're in Hubris Comics and this man is geeking out and I find it so fucking adorable. Reminds me so much of my own younger brother lmao. Maybe that's why I don't like the idea of romancing him...

So if/when you get the cannibal perk and go about eating humans with any companions, they obviously have something to say. I think Strong is the only one who likes it, the rest, obviously, the rest don't like it and are rather grossed out. But when you go about digging through the Super mutants meat bags, your companions comment about you getting loot and such but like no one is bothered that you are digging through literal bags filled with flesh, bones, and blood. Like, no one of bothered by the fact that you are most likely covered in gore and visceral, picking out whatever meat you found in there and most likely cooking it later and eating it. Common, they should at least say something bout it if they are going to say something about you eating humans.
