Fallout 4 headcanons and stuff

Contraption reactions.

It would've been cool to hear your companions talk about the manufacturing machines that you get from either the contraptions workshop. Personally, I can see it as a tier thing too,

Tier one- skepticism and doubt, like that old pile of rust surely isn't going to actual start working and producing food and various other items

Tier two- still skepticism but now they are curious/and or spooked by the loud noises the machine makes .

Tier three- amazement and joy, wow it actual worked! That's a box of Dandy boy apples that isn't 200 years old! I can hear Cait just going on and on about how many caps y'all could make, Preston talking about how this will help the commonwealth and the Mintue men troops. Pre BB Danse going on about his this is beneficial to the Brotherhood and yada yada yada.

Also MacCready, Deacon, Hancock, and Piper would all want to ride the covert belts.

I feel inclined now to make a post about the Compaions reacting to the machinery...

Stage one- Sole and their companion discover a broken factory and both agree on investing it, inside they discover a a food processing machine along with the schematics to produce more of them but wanting to see if the schemes would actual work, they decided to do some tinkering with the current machine before them.Stage two- a few drops off blood here, a spring there, some new gears and with the press of a button, a function convert belt, it's making a lot of weird noises, not sure it's it's old age or they did something wrong but either way, time to rest it out.Stage three- Sole and the companions were able to conclude that in order to make a box of sugar bombs, they were going to need some corn and grain and plastic. Having the materials on hand they plop it into the processor and out pops a box of sugar bombs.

Ada-

"I calculate a 76% chance of these machines being able to do to what they were made for, but that still leaves a 34% chance of them backfiring.""While the chance of them working has gone up there still is a risk of thne blowing up.""Perhaps my calculations were off."

Cait-

"just take a look at all the others, what makes you think this is actual going to work?""I'm sure ya know what your doing and all but could you not have built that quieter? Damn thing is makein me ears bleed.""Jus think of all the caps we could be makin! We'll be drowning in caps before the sunset!"

Curie-

"Oh if only this machine wasn't so damaged, just think of how easy life would be if the people of the commonwealth had access to food right away!"

"Ah, I do not believe that it should be making sure a loud noise, it's rather unpleasant to hear..."

"Oh Monsieur! We have done it! Let us celebrate our success!"

Codsworth

"Oh if only these machines were kept up to date, think of the wonders machines like these could bring! Food that isn't over 200 hundred years old to say the least.""Perhaps it would be wise is we leave these machines to their own devices, that ticking noise is of the utmost unsettling noise I have ever heard!""You don't suppose these machines could change the world do you?"

"Technology like this has been lost to the ages, I doubt we'll be able to make it work.""I feel like it would've been best to entrust this to Proctor Ingram or someone aboard the Prydwen, I doubt the validity of our combine technological skills soldier.""Technology like this would prove beneficial to the Brotherhood, we should report out success immediately to Elder Maxson!"

Post Blind Betrayal Danse-

"This would prove beneficial to our cause but I don't have high hopes that it will work.""I'm seriously doubting you technological skills, here. I believe you may be in over your head on this project.""Well I'll be damn, what's do we need to make the Fancy lad cakes?"

Deacon-

"Alright boss, ain't gonna lie-this ain't going to work."

"I've never been a fan of loud noises."

"Des should hear bout this, this can do wonders with helping the railroad. I mean it can wonders with helping the commonwealth but who am I to dictate who finds out about this."

Gage-

"Sure boss, this is totally going to work, nothing bad will happen at all. Nothing.""Still got my doubts.""Boss, ya don't know just how happy you made the raider boss. Specially them operators."

Hancock-

"Do they got any plans to make chems? I'm runnin low on jet..."

"I dunno bout this, ain't exactly sure it's suppose to be making the whriling noise?"

"Aw man, Who needs a machine to make jet when i can but it with all the caps we can make off of this thing! Then we'll invest the funds intos making a chem machine."

MacCready-

"I'm not sure what you see in that pile of heaping rust but what I'm seeing is at least 50 caps if we find the right person, 25 if we can't find anyone."

"Eh, we may have gotten it up and running but I still think we should just sell it, I'm sure someone has a need for at least the moving parts of this whole thing-"

"Alright, we keep the machine but we sell what it makes? And I get to ride the moving belt thingy."

Nick-

"I've been looking to tinker on something else other then my hand, though I suspect that this is going to need something other then a small flathead hm?"

"Honestly, anyone else in the commonwealth could've done a better job at this then us but hey, at least it's running."

"Going add 'food processor mechanic' to my resume, I'm impressed we actual got it to work."

Piper

"Look, Blue, either way this goes it will make great news for the papers. Oh I got it! "Local vault dweller looses limb from fail project!"

"Alright, is looking less like I'll be getting a bloody headliner, more like missing fingers or a new bald spot. Not so sure that will get many readers though..."

"Darn, no blood but hey! Fresh food, surely this will get a lot of attention! Though the first batch should go to MacCready, as long as we don't tell him that it was produced by a machine that's over 200 years old I'm sure he'll lap it right up! If not I'm sure Danse wouldn't mind.

Preston-

"General, I'm not sure this is a good idea? The idea it's self is awesome but getting it to work would take a miracle."

"I've never seen something like this before? that's really cool!"

"I can't believe it! We got it to work! Surely we'll get more recruits for the minute men when they find out they'll have fresh food!"
