Danse and Piper go brrr

I honestly can see Danse and Piper having a sibling rivalry going on.

Just based on this companion swap dialogue alone, Danse is the over protective older brother and Piper is the 'don't tell me what to do' younger sister. Danse tells her to stay safe and Piper, of course, doesn't want to act like she going to follow his advice so she insults him. Piper tells Danse to play nice and Danse acts like the stone wall badass older brother and says "only if it 'plays nice' back civilian"(god I still hate that). Essentially returning the insult back to her.

Piper loves to rough up Danses hair after he gets it all brushed out and combed back, he's too tall to give him a noogie but that's not to say that she doesn't try.Danse will snatch her press cap and hang it above her head if he's annoyed with her, it amuses the crap outta everyone watching her jump and yelled at him to give it back.Danse respects Piper and her journalism work, he believes that the truth should be told and not hidden but he just doenst enjoy the ways she goes about getting the 'truth' out there.Piper will press(hehehe) Danse about story's from the Brotherhood. Dirty secrets, past mission, current drama(Pre and post BB) anything she can get him to talk about.They've had to tell people that they aren't actual related, countless times. Hair color doesn't always mean relative's.Piper and Nat are one of the few people Danse actual lets to mess and play with his Power Armor. Though it's strictly supervised and she can't go out with it. It's fitted to his body type, not her so using it wouldn't really work out all that wellNat loves to ride on Danses shoulders when he's in his power armor. She also just loves sitting on top of his power armor.She has been caught multiple times just chilling on top of Danses power armor. Specially if it's his X-01 suit, she loves to rest against the walls that surround the head space.Danse doesn't like it when she does that.Depending on how the day was before, it's quite often that Danse will wake up with a box of some sorta sweet by his door step. Even a man has his weak spot and sweet are one of them.But despite that, Danse will constantly lecture Piper and the other about nutrition. Piper gets the worse of it though since she always has this arsenal of sweet at her disposal.Danse and Piper will get caught in petty arguments over nothing and neither will backdown. These can drag out for days upon days depending on topic, will rope the others into it.If Piper or Nat is mad at Danse, she'll call him 'soldier boy' even if it's post BB.If Danse is mad at Piper, he'll call her 'civilian'. He doesn't know what to call Nat.Nat didn't like Danse at first but she started to see him as a annoying older brother too, nagging one safety and the dangers of the world but also teaching her how to defend herself and various other did bits involving life.Danse has an affinity for children so he is really protective of Nat despite her almost having the same 'don't tell me what to do' attitude as Piper .All three adopt a cat named Craig Jr. Thompson. It's a orange tabby cat. Cj, for short, also loves Danses power armor, if you see Nat up there ok Danses PA, fair chance that Cj is up there too.
