Dolce winced and groaned as she tossed and turned strenuously in her sleep.

She awoke with a GASP, panting as the visceral pain she felt through her body disappear upon awakening. Her breaths gradually slowed, reaching a level of calmness upon realizing what she just experienced.

It was all a dream...a realistic nightmare really...

Ah, well...No harm done. She was awake now—Alive and safe.

She raised her smooth, light peach skinned hand to rub away the tiredness from her ey-.

-Wait..."Skinned hand...?"

She blinked. She wasn't seeing things, right...?

Sure enough, the hand in front of her was human. Full realistic 3D, with all five-digits intact, not four-fingered, furred, or "cartoon-looking." She then noticed her arms were heavily bandaged, as if she had sustained some serious injury. Looking around the room, there were a lot of medical apparatuses around her. She was even attached to an EKG monitoring system which read her heart-rate as stable. There was an IV inserted into her arm, dripping liquid nutrients into her body. It became obvious she was in some sort of hospital room.

But why would she be here...? (IF she was still even in the same world.) This stuff looked way too sophisticated and advanced for such a simple-looking game universe. Not that she had ever been admitted to any medical facility in Andy's world (thankfully.) She wouldn't even know how experienced the doctors were to even trust their care...(If there were even doctors in the game world.)

Dolce managed to push herself upright and slide her slender human legs over the edge. (Yeah, she was questioning about that too.) She may have felt a little fatigued but it was a relief to know she wasn't paralyzed.

Dolce shivered a bit, having her bare feet touch the cold hospital floor. She didn't even perceive the virtually near unnoticeable, faint glitch that occurred within her shadow as she stepped over to the nearby mirror hung on the wall, taking the IV line with her as she walked.

Dolce FROZE in disbelief at her reflection. What she saw staring back was not the "cartoonish-face" of a border-collie, but a 23 year old young, HUMAN woman with brown eyes, fair complexion and long, dark-brown messy, semi-wavy hair that trailed past her shoulders. She was dressed in a hospital gown seen in the 1990's.

She took a hesitant step forward, getting closer to look at her reflection. She lightly touched her cheek which felt warm—not feverish-levels of warm—but normal...alive...

"Is this for real...Or have I already lost it...?" she quietly questioned to herself.

The sound of her room door opening grabs her attention.

An auburn haired man, slightly taller than her, around 25 with medium, wavy hair, hazel eyes and a cute face stepped into her room. He's wearing a black windbreaker jacket and dark blue denim jeans. There is a small bouquet of flowers in his hand.

Dolce stood still in bewilderment, having never seen the man before.

The man shut the door behind him. The moment he turned to Dolce, his eyes brightened with joy.

"Oh-! Oh my God! You-You're actually awake! That's amazing!" he exclaimed, running towards her with open arms. "I'm so reli-!"

WHAM! Dolce calmly kneed him hard in the stomach.
