A/N: Before I go into the important details, I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this little fanfiction of mine. It is my very first one I ever created and posted online and it is something I never thought I'd actually ever do without the encouragement of my friends.
Now for the important stuff: So even though this fanfic is an AU of the "Andy's Apple Farm" game, there are still many things I'd like to see how they would continue in Chapter 2 in the main game before proceeding to write more chapters. That being said, until Chapter 2 is released, "Dolce's Game" will be put on HIATUS until further notice. (*However, if I have ideas for any additional "Side Chapters," I'll still post those.)
I actually really like how this story is turning out so far so I have no means of quitting or abandoning this story whatsoever. (Ironically, while we're all waiting for Chapter 2, I actually do know where to go with my story and even maybe how to conclude it—in my own way for this AU. I just want to know more about the details regarding the story and characters.)
BUT: While the story itself will be on hold, I have been considering on creating a Art / Fanart book for this story (based on a comment I received) with character concepts, fanart, and maybe some illustrations of important scenes from specific chapters, so I hope you all will take a glimpse at that too when it comes out.
Now for the preview of the next chapter:
This is the first quarter of the next main chapter which will later include Baylee / Sam down the line.
Enjoy~!
CHAPTER 11: FUNTIMES AT FUN FAIRE
Andy slowly stirred in his sleep, still tucked away warmly in his sleeping bag. He yawned as he sat up and stretched out his arms, feeling much better having got over his minor cold the day before. He and Dolce stayed up later than usual the night before to clean up the mess in his kitchen after her failed numerous attempts of cooking a meal as a means to repay him for his kindness and to help him get over his illness.
He checked the old traditional clock on his wall which read "8:36 AM." It was a much later time than when he would normally wake up, but he wasn't too surprised, they did after all stay up pretty late.
"Good morning Dolce~." he greeted pleasantly as he did every morning with her.
...
"-Dolce?"
He got up from the ground and looked over at his tidied bed to see Dolce wasn't there.
"Huh, she must've gotten an early head-start." he thought aloud to himself. Well if she wasn't in the room with him, he might as well use this chance to change.
----------------------------
After he changed into his usual getup, he descended down the stairs. He usually was the one who made breakfast for them both so he wondered if Dolce even ate yet.
"Little stray~ All on your own...~" he heard Dolce's voice from a distance. Was she...singing...?
He followed the sound her sweet voice.
"Who knew she could sing..." he mused. She certainly hid her talents well...
"...Life became calamity~ Wandering the empty streets...~"
He passed through the living room.
"Abandoned by your family~ You've no home to go back to~ All your friends have turned on you~ Peaceful days a fantasy...~"
It seemed to be coming from the kitchen...
There, he saw Dolce on her feet at the sink rinsing some dishes she used in the morning.
