*A/N: So this was supposed to be a fun little side chapter while I was still coming up with ideas for the main story. Nonetheless I really liked how it turned out and I hope you all will enjoy it as well~!
PREMISE: Dolce experiences her first Winter in the game world but something dark threatens to ruin her day of fun in the snow...And her relationship with her friends.
Dolce shifted positions in the bed Andy allowed her to sleep in. Her eyes scrunched a bit in her slumber before opening them completely. It was time to get up.
Dolce had already gotten used to Andy's schedule and pushed herself upright from bed and stretched her arms widely.
...Only to be hit by a sudden chill in the air.
She immediately withdrew her arms and pulled the covers back over her body.
"Brrr...It's chilly in here...Did we leave the window open or something...?" She muttered quietly to herself.
"Ahh...Good morning Dolce~." Andy greeted pleasantly as he sat up from his sleeping bag.
"Morning. Hey, is it just me or is it freezing in here?" she asked him.
"No, it definitely feels colder today. Quick, look outside."
She really didn't want to leave the bed which was her only source of warmth at the moment. With a lot of reluctance, she forced herself to climb out of his bed and pulled back the blinds.
What she saw shocked and amazed her...
"Where did all this snow come from?!" she exclaimed in astonishment.
Several inches of snow blanketed the countryside in a smooth, fluffy, pristine, white dreamland. Even then, snowflakes lightly continued to fall.

Chopped logs of firewood were thrown into the fireplace. Andy took a lighter and ignited the logs, creating a warm burning fire within.
Dolce had draped herself with her hoodie over her shoulders (while still in her PJ's,) clutching a warm cup of hot cocoa close to her body as she continued to stare out the window, entranced by the snow.
"We sure got a decent amount out there...It's really pretty to look at, but it must be harsh out there if you didn't have shelter...Must be the beautiful, twisted side of nature..." she somberly gazed.
"Talking to yourself again?" Andy asked as he made his way towards her. "It's a beautiful sight. You have snow back in your world too right?"
"Yeah, but...currently not at the moment I don't think..."
"I'm sure it's just as nice to look at."
"Feel kinda bad for your orchard out there..."
"Don't worry. We were able to harvest enough to provide a steady source of income for the year. And like all the greenery that was once around us, it will all return in Spring." he assured.
"Kinda reminds me of some old myths that helped to explain the change of seasons back home."
"It would be interesting to hear what kind of stories and folklore you have in your world Dolce. But today we should have some fun! The snow won't be around forever! We should enjoy it while we can!" he smiled brightly.
"You're such a goofball at times Andy. But that's why I also appreciate you for it." she lightly teased.
